Dirty day down at mortlock park today for the lions, up at half time and lost by 10 goals, grover went down with an ankle and wood copped a massive blow to the head, wc played very well after half time and we couldnt keep up, few blokes to come back in but definately taught a lesson today

Devastating loss for Ingle Farm today, kicked the 1st 6 goals of the game before Paralowie switched on. Scores level at the final change but the Farmers just couldnt find that little bit extra and ended up going down by abt 4 goals :(

Aaron Frith and Jack Buckskin destroyed the doggies

top win at Houghton, great game that was extremely entertaining. Great grab by Quichey in the last. Saw you mate but didnt get a chance to drop a line.

An entertaining game played in good spirit at Houghton that could of gone either way. The Kooka's took their chances (the Raiders didn't) and in the end Kennilworth deserved the win. However it was spoilt by some very average umpiring from one umpire in the first half - surprisingly  seemed to come good and become much fairer after a strong talking to by the association umpire at half time.
I know all sides can have some "pretty average" supporters but the constant barrage of "F & C" word from a group of Kooka supporters was disgusting. I have never heard such disgusting language at any game of football - it was embarrassing as there were women and children present. Also to be called "white dogs" by them just about somes them up.
I wonder the reaction if we retaliated with a similar remark. One rule for one ............
Pathetic and I feel sorry for the decent people who support the Kooka's The association or their club executive need to address this type of behaviour / language.

Didn't hear that mate however the references from the supporters on the wing echoing across the ground were not exactly g rated. Top game off footy. !oth clubs should be proud for the exhibition.

i think scotroo summed it up..hawks blew the lions away in second half and are a pretty good unit i rate just under LFC..but its close with those 2

gutsy win by the kookas with injuries on the day and no recognized ruckmen..and bad luck to the farmers..i thought you might get up for that one..
