People, a word of warning when heading to Harpers Field - there is a ferret on the loose..well not really but there is one that gets taken for a walk during the breaks.. I shall leave for the Chocolated one to explain!

It belongs to our trainer Lisa and she believes it's our lucky ferret and that we win when he/she/it comes along. She had it tied up next to the fence the other week and I heard some rustling in the long grass behind the fence and I swear the brown bear nearly poked it's head out of the cave !!!

I nearly stepped on it in the trainers room the other night too....

Choccies...not all, some with work for a few weeks, Norths juniors hooked one after we got him back in form (bastards) but the rest pretty much, Bamford probably back a week too soon as a result and N Wright still getting back into it after surgery.

Funny we have a bloke out here we call the "cat" not sure about the black bit tho

Interesting games this weekend.... results will make the ladder very interesting. You'd presume on ladder position and form that WOS, Pooraka and GG should all win. If Fitzroy and Pulteney win then the ladder will look something like this -

Pooraka (12pts), WOS, GG (10), Greenies, Fitzroy, Pulteney (8), Unley (6), Salisbury and SW (4), Woosy Sth (0). STill very close and a fair log jam in the middle. But........ if Salisbury can get up over Pulteney and Greenies get some touch back over the Roys then it will look like this -

Pooraka (12), WOS, GG, Greenies (10) Fitzroy, Pulteney, Unley, Salisbury (6), SW (4) and Woody Sth (0). So a 2 game buffer opens up between 4th and the 4 teams on 6 points. Should make for a cracker round !!!
