Get Born by Jet. The entire album is made up of bad cover versions.

'NASHVILLE PUSSY'
 (Awesome band... Hot chix, What more could you want?)
I swallow my tongue bagging a band I love....
But their version of the Akka Dakka classic,
taken from AC/DC's greatest album 'Powerage'
'Kicked in the teeth'
Fair dinkum, leads a lot to be desired!

...Other than that,
ANY band which tries to attempt to replicate the magic that was
Ozzy, Iommi, Butler, Ward aka 'BLACK SABBATH' :D
...Give up!
Ya can't do it!
...NOBODY CAN!!!! :x

I just received a great New Order/Joy Division 'tribute' album from neworderonline.com - most of it is awesome though as a rule I don't like tribute albums at all. Oh, except for the Lee Hazelwood tribute which is very cool.

Anyway, at least the New Order CD makes up for Frente's version of Bizarre Love Triangle

Tainted Love by Soft Cell - To my ol' matey Zipzap, I found out they did have a few other minor hits in England, it was here and in America that they never followed up on it.
Smooth Criminal by Inch Ant Farm
My Perogative by Britney Spears

I take your John Farnham and up it,The Veronicas-Its a long way to the top!

At least Johnny has some sense of the "real" music industry.

Locomotion by Kylie Minogue.
Then again, anything original(?)by this overated media whore is atrocious.

I don't have any problem with Mr Farnham, just think anyone other than Bon is going to do any of his stuff a disservice ... The veronica's effort I wasn't aware of, thats just downright staggering!!

Coming from a diehard AC/DC fan (though not a fan of John Farnham)
I still don't have a problem with Farnsy covering 'It's a long way to the top... (if you wanna Rock n' Roll)'
From reading Bon Scott's biography written by Glen A. Baker
Scott & Farnsy hung out & were pretty good mates.
Both indulging in the 'Sex, Drugs & Rock n' Roll' lifestyle of the Early 70's
I think round the time of either before or after 'Fraternity'
when the future Akka Dakka front-man had a house in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra.
So I see it as a tribute... Even if it does sound ordinary!

Bon Scott R.I.P.
1946-1980

Haven't read the book but I reckon that Scott and Farnham's friendship would go back to the late 60's when Scott was in the Valentines and Farnham was just taking off as a teen heartthrob.
BTW Fraternity were an Adelaide based band (bunch of Hippies living in the Hills :P )
