Trinity were junk when we played them a few weeks ago, but who knows, maybe they've recruited a couple of half decent players.

victory this week will be all the more sweeter when we smash the TOSsers!

Also the word "rest" comes in to play when we play against the worse teams. We give the older better guys a rest and give some of the players that miss out each week a go.

A2M and Footy Rulz

That's enough! :? C6 is for talk about games, not slagging off at each other.

Any further instances will see you viewing SA footy as guests for a week.

Thank you.

Not sure if it's been said on here but..... the views, opinions and constant dribble from Footy_Rulz does not reflect the views or opinions of pretty much almost everyone at the Golden Grove Footy Club.

FR, friendly banter is fine but you're starting to sound like Footy_Toolz..... Keep it constructive please....

I remember playing C6 a few years back when I had issues with work and training. We had a had a half ok side that finished 4th and I seriously can't remember taking any game serious. Hell I used to laugh when some one stuffed up or when we got a bad decision by the umpires (Even in the finals). Relax boys and just be glad that you are getting a game and that the other team rocks up to give you a game.

I would agree with all of that, will try and do a better job of being critically positive. My views are my own and no one elses so if you do not like what I say take it out on me and not GGFC.

With that much pride in the guernsey 1 would think you would want to play a higher grade?? Just a thought.

Yeah for sure I agree, does not give you a right to call other sides/clubs garbage on a public forum but. Anyway just my 2 cents

I'll give FR one thing and that is that he is passionate about his club. His mouth works faster than his legs sometimes tho and he knows that more than anyone ;) But he is a good club man...

True. Sometimes I call that 'misplaced pride' ;)

thats dissapointing about Paralowie, we had the upmost respect for them last year but we have lost it this year, all their players wanted to do was fight when we played them earlier.

I wouldnt normally back FR up but I would say a 120 point win is pretty convincing wouldn't you? you beat Salisbury by 3 goals, i would say that is unconvincing :?

Obviously I was being sarcastic seeing as FR is a <edited by mods - no personal attacks thanks>...

We played an OK Trinity on the weekend, They weren't super special, they weren't overly fast or blessed with alot of skill, More of an honest side. Will not get close to SMOSH or PAOC, but should play finals. Trinity lack the three or four old heads that Golden Grove and SMOSH have and they are valuable come finals time.

Good game over all, improvements in our side each week and a far better feeling this year as opposed to last year.
