Late change for North: McIntosh out, Harding in.

No changes for Adelaide.

Happy with the Roos win, we still didnt play that well but good enough. I couldnt believe the amount of tackles we broke or got the hands free for handballs, you can measure attitude/confidence of teams workrates when they dont have the ball and it was pretty ordinary tonight by the Crows IMO

Sounds stupid but if the holding the ball that should've gone your way late in the last was paid and a goal resulted, you may very well have got up in the game last night. Surely that decision has to be looked at and I'm surprised no Crows supporters have said anything about it.
To me the 2 tackles were absolutly identical, one was play on and one was holding the ball. Can understand if they were 30 mins apart but they were within 5 secs of eachother.

The Armstrong htb in the second qtr was just as bad. Hopefully the club will go to 'the Geisch' and ask for clarification on those incidents. The Foxtel commentators seemed to be on Adelaide's side with the bad calls, I would assume the 5AA callers would've been screaming and carrying on.

yeah i did think that as well but that just dosent cut the mustard as to why we were so insiped and uncommited to chasing and running back inthe first 3 quarters . There were plenty of players prepared to run forward of the ball but not push back when they needed to . Lazy Lazy Lazy

Two weeks in a row the Crows have struggled for 3 quarters and looked better in the last when the opposition got tired and slowed down.
Until that happens late in the game they seem to spend to much time looking for the perfect set up and hang on the the ball too long so that the disposal is hasty and erratic.
It is time to modify a game style that worked when the Crows were fitter than everybody else, as it doesn't work now.

I'd actually rather some of the players get the boot from the side indefinitely and kids brought in, instead of craig getting the boot.

Simon Goodwin is the worst Captain Adelaide has ever had, 27 useless disposals, only fires up in junk time in the last quarter, flat track bully.

Just got back from Melbourne. The first three qtrs were an absolute disgrace. The last qtr was just a cop out. Surely Reilly has to be dropped soon he has been around the club long enough and given BUGGER all. Young players like Petrenko, Armstrong and Jaensch show more guts. Its seems to me the umpiring gets worse and worse every week there is just no consistency with them.

Just my opinion but i believe Neil Craig is similar to Grant Thomas when at St.Kilda, only use one ruckman for each game and have a couple of fill ins to help out,i always think u need at least 2,North Melbourne originally were going to have 3,McIntosh was a late withdrawl, then Hale got injured early,if all 3 had have played its too much for Maric to cope, luckily for him.Just doesnt seem to have any faith in Griffin who i have seen a few times this year and is playing well,in the end Maric will surely struggle as the game is still becoming faster.

Maric escapes a lot of criticism for mine. He's ordinary at centre square contests and gets killed around the ground. I don't care what midfield you have, if you're playing 1 down to the ruckman of the opposition, you're giving away goals to start with especially if that ruckman can go forward and kick goals. Matthew Clarke used to cop criticism for not taking a mark around the ground but when did Maric take a park mark or anything for his crumbers around the ground?

Two separate issues.

The Crows are terrible but it's got nothing to do with the umpiring.

Yes, the umpiring is terrible.

We were shit. Nothing more to say.

It's becoming clearer and clearer where too. Our attack is dangerous enough, our defence is solid enough, but our midfield, oh our midfield.

The old fellas just don't have a juice anymore, and the young fellas are still too green to run with the top players of the comp. Just look at Brent Harvey last night.

God help us when we run into Geelong.

Must be a worry Dutchy, only 16,000 under the roof on a Saturday night when a win for the Roos was a real possibility. Real worry.

Our skills at the moment would have to be the worst I have ever seen. Our complete inability to handball to advantage to a team mate is costing us dearly and our attempts to switch play or move into the corridor are littered with kicks behind the player/at their feet/over their head/hospital balls etc etc etc..... These are basic skills I expect my current B grade amateur team to execute yet the Crows struggle to do this at all. Our skills are putting our team mates under pressure forcing them into an ever lower percentage disposal and this is being led by Goodwin and Edwards whose disposal standards this year have been woeful. Add Thompson in to that mix even though he didn't play in this debacle.

I am bloody angry....

Pretty hard to play any sort of game plan when you have a team who cannot hit a 20m target by foot or a 5m target by hand....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Despite our poor form, Saturday night was the first time I've really lost my trolley at them. They were piss poor, and the last quarter bullshit after the game was done and dusted just made it even worse. There were points that I could not even watch the tv they were that cringeworthy.

This was the first time I have ever switched off when they have been on TV. Have to say though my very angry mood was dimmed somewhat once I settled in to Go! to watch Charlies Angels - Full Throttle. Much better than Neils Angels - Full hopeless.......
