Apparently Symons won at over $20 on Wed, yesterday at $31 and ties today at $41. Find the value lads.
Backing JC favourites no matter what their rides are like is a big mistake (Johno) Sure you will win 1 in 3 but if they are all $2 that means a loss in the end. Win 1 in 10 times and get an average of $20 sounds better doesn't it?.
You are all slowly learning.
BL are $1-00-2  thats not even $1-01

Nolen and Buckley both in BIG TROUBLE...

I had HARMONY as a certain 3 points and the stupid donkey ran like a donkey and kicked him off as he was running into the points....

Was hoping for a good day after yesterday.

Took McKevoy/Hermann/Dunn in some multis.

Bloody Hackevoy runs second on Pinwheel to run into a 2 way tie and he was only about $1.80.

Hermann runs 4th in the last race for a 4 way tie at $15....

And Dunn rode 3 seconds for a 3 way tie at $5.50...

Made a very minimal profit but could've been massive!!

Two Adelaide jockeys under investigation over betting plunge CRAIG COOK From: The Advertiser May 16, 2010 11:25PM Increase Text SizeDecrease Text SizePrintEmail Share
Add to DiggAdd to del.icio.usAdd to FacebookAdd to KwoffAdd to MyspaceAdd to NewsvineWhat are these?TWO top Adelaide jockeys and the Melbourne Cup-winning Kavanagh stable are at the centre of an investigation into an Australia-wide betting plunge.
Current premiership jockey Chad Lever and triple premiership rider Paul Gatt were among six people spoken to by racing stewards.

Sam Kavanagh, son of leading trainer Mark Kavanagh, has been interviewed by SA chief steward Graham Loch over the alleged fixing of Saturday's Adelaide Jockeys' Challenge at Morphettville Parks.

Mr Kavanagh, who manages his father's Adelaide stables, says he will fully co-operate with stewards' investigations, which centre around claims punters had prior knowledge that Lever would pull out of racing on Saturday and Gatt would take his more fancied rides.

"I've already gone through some of my phone calls on the day with Mr Loch and I'm happy to talk to stewards at any time," Mr Kavanagh said.

TABs and corporate bookmakers were forced to suspend betting on the jockeys' challenge when an avalanche of large bets was placed on underdog Gatt.

The jockeys' challenge is a bet type offering punters the chance to pick who will be the leading rider at a particular meeting, with jockeys earning points for race placings. Lever was a short-priced favourite to win the challenge on Saturday morning with several potential winning rides, including two for the Kavanagh camp.

Stewards were informed by a corporate bookmaker around 11am on Saturday morning that Gatt had been sensationally backed - from $21 into $2.40 - to win the jockeys' challenge.

Bets are believed to have been placed before official notification to stewards that Lever would not be riding at the meeting because of illness and Gatt would replace Lever on the two fancied horses trained by Mark Kavanagh. He subsequently won a race and ran second in another.

"I was alerted by a wagering operator interstate that there was significant interest in Paul Gatt in one of the jockey challenges," Mr Loch said yesterday. "There was a clear inference in the call that people had prior knowledge of the change in riding arrangements."

Stewards visited Lever's home on Saturday to see why he had failed to fulfil his obligations.
