Geez WCP a few sour grapes there - walk away nfrom Rangers and now the going gets a bit tough walk away from Bostons. Its good to see a few still have a heart. Next you'll be at Waybacks thats my tip.

Failure can always be measured by the person who likes to sling at others who achieved better.

At least he says what he is thinking and he will say it to your face. He posts what he hears, I dont agree with some of the things he states but at least he doesn't beat around the bush I will give him that

And I don't underestimate Rangers either.... I simply don't rate them...

I dont think they are much chop either Marble and mind you we have a lot of work to do at Windsor as well. The thing is for at least 5 teams anyone is a chance. As far as rating Bostons Marble I have'nt rated them for lets see at least 15 years.

Between you and I, and the rest of the internet reading public, I'll let you in on a little secret that isn't that little...

Season 2010, I do not rate the Tigers, and cannot see them winning a game based on current side & form.

Just a brief report on MR v T as you can read all about it tomorrow (as long as they don't cull too much of it)
A really good game of footy, scrambly in parts but entertaining nonetheless. Tassies proved a little too strong in the end to run out winners by 21 points. No spite, just 2 committed teams having a go. MR inacurracy, both in front of goal and in general play hurt and was not up to the standard of Tasmans on the day. This aspect of our game has been hurting in every game and the skill level is a liitle bewildering given the talent on the field. Pressure you can understand but when not under it and the delivery is wide of the mark ????.
Tasmans bounced back from their disappointment the previous week and reasserted their position in the competition. Their rucks outplayed ours and Mason back in was a plus for them. Ben Daniels = good. Semmler = precision. Wagner = cool under pressure. Their defence = sound
For MR, Gurtin = star in making in this comp. M Parker = opportunistic. Defence = sound.
H Parker = hammy
I am afraid we have a few players who are not of 'A' grade standard and can't wait til it rains and seeding is finished

Steigs I d be interested in your thoughts on Saturdays game. I thought Gurtin? looked the goods, both Parkers wre around the
mark, who are the Key Forwards that were missing ? Theres a couple out there that are unfit who would be match winners in Charman and Brooks.

Said all I am going to say for the moment on the game itself - read the rest tomorrow. But to answer your specific questions.
Gurtin - Will be very good in this comp. Only young but has experience at a good level already.
M Parker - doing most things right and the fact that he has been thrust into our side as the no. 1 go to forward, which I would think is new to him, and still kick goals is a credit to him
H Parker - very quiet on Satdy for mine and will need the week off with his hammy - maybe more. No association footy for him this week.
I think Chook is reasonably ok fitness wise (had a long preseason), just playing in an unaccustomed position. My thoughts on where he should play are widely known. Did ok the previous week agin Bostons up fwd but that was the only week of the season for mine.
Charman does look a little unfit and I think probably is. Still takes a few marks dropping back but was soundly beaten in the ruck on Satdy.

One of only 2 blokes (with Eags) to pick Mallees and fell flat on my you know what, altho nearly by the looks of the scoreboard. Now firmly at the bottom of the tipsters ladder  :( Not accustomed to this and will now have to pick the odd upset to claw back the lost ground

Sorry KWF forgot to mention the key forwards. Neil Seaman did not play on Satdy. He would be the only one "missing" to my knowledge. Sarge may come into the side after 2 games in the B's. Other than that Trent Ormond-Allen looks the only one to be our saviour.

A certain football club needs to do its homework on who is who on this site before they go around bagging a bloke who is not who they think he is.

I do, however, find it amazing when some people query who certain people are, when in fact, most posters are open about their identities.

Some people, like KWF said, jump on here, read one page, and try to start a s**tstorm...

ok lets forget about all that and get onto more footy news.
I think a couple of players may have done their assoc rep chances no harm whatsover on the weekend. Those on Daicos' infamous list that I saw either on the weekend or over the last couple of weeks that have done well are Gurtin, Sampson, Dodd and Mason.
