Dont know of anyone called Perry but rumour doing rounds is that seaton will play hodges this week in goal square. hard to match up on u would think due to injuries at seaton

Translation - 'Perry is playing tomorrow, but Hodges has been named on the teamsheet at this stage to throw people off...' ;)

You know alot about Seaton for a SMOSH bloke Top End...

Probably the same good "sportsmanship" that saw Matto have an operation this week for a busted eye socket courtesy of a knee to a head when he was on the ground.

Becoming the norm after Blanch copped a busted cheekbone and eyes socket in the GF last year for having his head over the ball. The DVD shows a deliberate hip and shoulder to the head.

Jesus mate u clutching at straws.
Im not saying wat alby did was right in relation to pushing a bloke after the siren. But if u have a bloke come up2 u after the game has finished and give u lip, some blokes are going to lash out. Bad sportsmanship by both parties. The charge of striking got downgraded to misconduct or some jargon. The reason why he didnt get a game is "because he didnt shake the oppositions hand".

Im sure if u asked matto about his check he wouldn't be having a sulk about it. I got alot of respect for matto as a footballer, but hes been known to slip in a knee or elbow himself. U blokes have had your fair share hits laid as well. Review the tape and have a look at some of the off ball treatment pilli got buddy. Your saying alby did that 2 matto with intentions to break his eye socket, i think you would find they are mates that went to school together, so i doubt it.

Have you got footage of any of Roo's elbows to Jess Rivers head from the same game?

I think he was left out for disciplinary reasons. He will be very handy for them. Wins alot of contested footy.

Iggies, but not by as much as some people would expect.
CBCOC, Mitcham cant win away from home.
Para Hills, but the boys better be prepared, Kilburn improving.
PAOC, just. (someone's got to beat them)
And the big upset Scotch by 2 points at home. (Probably need my head read).

Very ordinary game of footy today at The Paddocks. Kilburn certainly took it up to us all day and I have no doubt they will jag a win shortly. I know people get on they high horses as soon as you start bagging the umpires but again today sh#thouse. if I was to rate them out of ten, the academy ump 3/10 the other ump 5/10. And dont start writing sh#t about "well if you dont like it do something about it" It is just my observation regarding the standard of umpirres IN GENERAL this season.

So Iggies arent invinsible, well done SMOSH.

No doubt your head needs read blackcat with your tipping but as far as the Academy Umpires are concerned your spot on, another awfull display was on show at Flinders Uni with Seaton V Scotch.
An absolute embarrassment to our game.

Refer to the Footy Budget article on Acacemy Umpire by the Editor and his opinions reflect the views of just about everyone in Division 3. They are simply sh*thouse and should not be doing the job. Do the Under 18's where they should be as was indicated in the article. They are a dead set bloody joke and Mr Oates and his illustrious boss at Luft Stalag Thebarton have to be held accountable for the crap that all Division 3 sides are getting. Simple really. A bloody shambles and fiasco

Are we still Overrated HR?

Think you'll be doing well to beat CBCOC out there, but seems as though you're getting to full strength.

And shove your tip where its fits Schimma!

Yes, but 6 points less overrated than Seaton ;)

And 53 points less overrated than Old Iggies... :?

CBC v Mitcham was an interesting game. Mitcham pretty much flogged CBC in every stat, except scoring shots and once again struggled to kick straight. At the 22nd minute mark of the last quarter we were done by 1 goal, to then be down by 4 goals at the 29th minute was very disappointing. The oval needs to be looked at. With the kind of weather we've been having all ovals should be in reasonably good condition. They were pretty much playing beach footy out there. There were just random sandpits all over the ground, making turning impossible!

The umpiring wasn't fantastic but were probably better than what we've been getting most other weeks. One interesting point though - which was a bit of shame. The goals umpires we had were very young. One looked maybe 12, the other less than 10. Good on them for giving it a go, would have to take a bit of courage for them to put their hands up and do it but unfortunately some of the decision were horrible to say the least. The younger goal umpire calling a goal goal for CBC when the ball bounced through the points, and a touched point for Mitcham when the ball came off the boot of a mitcham forward (thats 2 goals!!!). Also tried to call a point for when the ball hit the point post - when it's just out of bounds. The players seemed confused, and the Mitcham blokes weren't happy. Which led to the young goal umpire in tears and having to be consoled by the field umpires at 3 quarter time! Surely there's an age limit - thought it was 15??
