Even allowing for the generally good reception he gets from umpires, Adam Goodes has also had some big games for Sydney. Ryan Griffen has also had a sound start to the year at the Bulldogs.

The intangible might be Nic Natanui. While the Eagles have only won one game, he is physically very hard to ignore and the spectacular things he does might be sneaking him preferences.

Chriss Judd with 3 votes against Collingwood?? Kidding right!

9 votes IMO wouldnt be leading at this stage, so makes it impossible for Judd to be leading. It would be all collingwood players to get votes against Carlton surely

Being on the losing team is no barrier to getting the three votes, plenty of examples in the last few years of losing teams supplying the 3 votes. His 37 disposals were eyecatching and as mentioned, picked up votes in nearly every media award for the match.

We all think Channel 7 is so bad but in today's paper, page 78, they are bringing the telecast forward half hour but have already declared it won't be live in Adelaide...
Surely they can programme the telecast this early.
When will these people realise that with the internet, iPhones etc, it is hard to miss important information from the Eastern states.
It just means for that night i have to avoid any news etc so it doesn't ruin announcing the winner!
Poor form Channel 10

I think it will come down to Judd, Ablett and Chapman at the end of the year.

Would have to agree, has been so dominant and the key to Carltons good form. Judd or Ablett would be in the lead as we speak
