Funny at Sturt supporter having a go a South...typical arrogance of forgetting where your club was in the late 80's / early 90's until Phil Carmen came to you club to change things, which took time and patience. Give it a rest Clarrie!!!

This is one of the best moves Ron has done IMO. The club has no time for individuals thinking they are better then the club or their teammates. This shows to other players that Ron wont deal with poor attitudes. We want players to fight for a league spot and not just go through the motions of putting on a SAFC jumper and running on the field....we want players to wear it with pride and bust their "guts" out for the club. For too long this has been the case and its great to see Ron finally change that......

Im looking at this move as a positive and not a negative......

Bring on Sturt on Saturday I say!!! :D

Yeah, Sturt supporters.....sheesh.

Just hope he doesn't come back with "dont forget where you club was in the 70's/80's/90's/00's...."

Bring on the club sledging!

if this is 100% correct (lets face it, it could be 'spin doctoring'), then south/ron fuller have done nothing wrong & the player is way out of line & south as a club as mentioned earlier will be a better club for it & will get better & more competitive quicker than putting up with that garbage, also if true it would have to go down as one of the biggest dummy spits of all time, did he take his bat & ball home as well ?

Now i'm not bashing Ron here.so souths fans I'm posting this with no malice intended . :D
I work with a south adelaide seconds player who this week was told he's to slow .This happened right before training monday night .to say he was rather crestfallen is putting it mildly.
Oh he will be kept on and play in the seconds as according to ron theres nothing in souths area re new players.

wind the clock back 12months Ron was trying to get this kid out to oval ave.

Probably end up at Goodwood Saints they pay very good money for South Adelaide disgards.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

What's the big deal here? Players leave clubs all the time. Some to play AFL, some to transfer to other SANFL clubs, some to play a lesser level of the game, some to merely retire. Football is a team game made up of individuals who have a right to choose if they wish to continue at their current club or move on. Not every player is happy where he is, and to be taking shots at a player just because he doesn't want to play any more is just plain stupid. Would you prefer he stays where he is and spreads his discontent with the rest of the players?
