Yeah quite surprised at my win. Couldnt believe my luck when i checked live scores during Freo/Coast agme and saw i was 300 up. Id dare say thats the 1st time ive knocked off the REBCats.... And damn it felt good :p I had this week penciled in as an L.. Happy with 2nd but know i need to step up my Attack as my scores really dont rate againt the other sides in Top 8. Few key trades this week should see me in good stead for this week. Cmon the Krew!

Based on last round's scores that's a win of about ten points. Not much percentage there Q man. Besides, don't you have 800k in the bank?

couple of bad trades cost me last week. Seabys injury has come at the wrong time with Warnock not playing

Goodes, Higgins, Hall, Medhurst, Cooney and Waters all scored below their average. That is where i lost the game.

This week, Seaby out, Tippet in. Watch him have a cracker!!!! :)

Hogg Premier Round 4

darcy DTF vs Darksiders SCE
FOOTYLEDGENS vs dunKsKrew
The Quiddities vs REBCats
Chicky's Crusaders vs Brown nosed Fev
Poon Army vs GordonBlue
Squeakeroos vs The Ginger Ninjas
Buddy&TheBoys vs chardy socialists
Boxheads Beauties vs Hawkeye

The match of the round in Hogg Premier this week is between darcy and the Darksiders. Darksiders are the reigning premier and up to last week's defeat at the hands of the Crusaders darcy had not put a foot wrong this year. darcy faces the very real prospect of losing two on end which wouldn't have been in the script in February.

GordonBlue's early season dominance will be put to the test by Poon Army who were impressive in ending Boxhead's unbeaten start to the season last week. A quick look at the Premier ladder shows that the gap between 2nd and 14th is only one match so the pack is very much sorting itself out at this stage. Should Gordy get this win he will get the jump on the pack and set himself up for a top four spot.

Another key clash is between dunKsKrew and FOOTYLEDGENS who have both gotten off to solid starts this year despite a fairly hard early draw. The LEDGENS defeated the Crusaders earlier in the season and dunKsKrew defeated my SADCats last week to snaffle second spot. The winner of this clash will be sitting pretty.

At the other end of the ladder the two teams who scored the lowest scores in Round 3 play each other in REBCats and the Quiddities. The Q Man is diabolical form this season and needs to 'do a dunKs' to kickstart his season and I'm not too keen to drop this one with darcy, Crusaders and LEDGENS coming up in the next three matches.

This time last season Buddy and the Boys were flying as were the chardy socialists. This season they play each other with the loser looking like a bottom four candidate. I reckon the chardys might salute here and I reckon Boxhead, Sqeakeroos and the Crusaders will be the other winners.

ROUND 4

Results
darcy DTF 2,290 def by 2,301 Darksiders SCE
FOOTYLEDGENS 2,055 def 1,842 dunKsKrew

Buddy&TheBoys 2,009 def 1,656 chardy socialists
Boxheads Beauties 2,238 def 1,911 Hawkeye

The match of the round lived up to it's billing with Darksiders recording an eleven point win over darcy to put him out of the top eight in Hogg Premier League. dunKsKrew came back down to earth as the 'no Ablett' selection method doesn't work quite so well when Gazza is picking up 406 points like he did for FOOTYLEDGENS.

Poon Army looked to have the chocolates early against ladder leaders GordonBlue but Gordy stormed home to retain leadership of Hogg Premier and his undefeated status. Poon is now in unfamiliar territory at 1-3 and with a bit of ground to make up to the top four already.

Gingernuts might not be able to beat his Missus in the Hogg but his score was good enough to record a victory against the Squeakeroos. Another team to surprise was Buddy and the Boys who recorded thier second win for the season. Boxhead's Beauties cleaned up Hawkeye easily and the Crusaders and REBCats accounted for struggling opposition in Brown Nosed Fev and the Q Man respectively.

Hogg Premier Round 5

darcy DTF vs  dunKsKrew
FOOTYLEDGENS vs  Darksiders SCE
The Quiddities vs  Brown nosed Fev
Chicky's Crusaders vs  REBCats
Poon Army vs  The Ginger Ninjas
Squeakeroos vs  GordonBlue
Buddy&TheBoys vs  Hawkeye
Boxheads Beauties vs  chardy socialists

The REBCats might have gotten back into form last week against Q Man but will find things much tougher against second ranked Chicky's Crusaders in this week's match of the round in Hogg Premier. Chicky's side had many underperforming players last week but still recorded a very good score. There is no doubt that Pup has rebounded back to his 2008 championship winning form after a poor season last year and he'll record his fourth win of the year this week.

FOOTYLEDGENS faces a tough task trying to defeat reigning premier Darksiders who cleaned up darcy in a tight one last week. The Cub has done much better than expected so far this season but looks outclassed here. Squeakeroos will face up against GordonBlue in a replay of the 2009 Division I Grand Final with Gordon looking invincible so far this season.

Buddy and the Boys look set to continue their climb up the ladder against the underwhelming Hawkeye who don't look the part this season. Boxhead can put a real dent in the chardy's year by continuing on his winning ways and darcy should cream an Ablettless dunKs who looks set to relinquish his spot in the top eight.

The other two matches are absolute desperate contests. Poon Army is 1-3 and in unfamiliar territory and must defeat Gingernuts to stay in touch with the top eight. For The Ginger Ninjas this is a crucial clash that he has to win if he expects to return to top eight action this season. He must close the door on Troy here.

The Quiddites will not get a better chance to open thier account against the also winless Brown Nosed Fev with the loser the outright favourite to get the wooden spoon. The winner of this clash is also a long way short of being assured of Hogg Premier participation in 2011 but for both coaches they would take a win of any description about now.

Buddy&TheBoys 2,174 def by 2,266 Hawkeye
Boxheads Beauties 2,123 def 1,783 chardy socialists

darcy must be wondering WTF is going on as he yet again recorded a very good score and was beaten yet again. Losing after racking up over 2300 points must be pretty hard to take and I feel sorry for whoever he's playing next week! dunKsKrew racked up his most impressive Hogg victory of his career and is starting to look like a team worthy of making the finals. FOOTYLEDGENS are another team that regularly qualifies for the finals and they were very unlucky to get overhauled by the impressive Darksiders in thier match with the Darkside saluting by a mere 15 points.

The Quiddites finally cashed in against Brown Nosed Fev as both winless sides racked up impressive numbers in a high quality clash. My REBCats pulled off the upset over Chicky's Crusaders who were hurt by Hooker going down for the Bombers. Gingernuts cleaned up the Poon Army who look like they might miss the finals for the first time in their history and yet again GordonBlue retrieved a dicey situation with a strong finish to be clearly the fittest side in the league. Hawkeye smashed Buddy to put him at risk and Boxhead put the chardys on the rack and snaffled second spot on the ladder on the way to doing so.

Hogg Premier Round 6
darcy DTF vs REBCats
FOOTYLEDGENS vs Brown nosed Fev
The Quiddities vs Darksiders SCE
Chicky's Crusaders vs dunKsKrew
Poon Army vs chardy socialists
Squeakeroos vs Hawkeye
Buddy&TheBoys vs GordonBlue
Boxheads Beauties vs The Ginger Ninjas

Second ranked Boxhead features in the match of the round against Gingernuts as Boxhead tries to hang on to his top four spot and Ginge tries to stay in the top eight. Boxhead has been a bit of a bolter in recent years and he's repeated the trend in 2010 so he might just drop Gingernuts out of the eight in this one. dunKsKrew has been a bit of a surprise packet as well in Hogg Premier and he takes on the equally inconsistent Chicky's Crusaders with the loser heading into dangerous territory mid table with sides like Poon, Squeaky, Buddy and darcy breathing down their necks. dunKs ranked up a massive score last week so it could be that the Crusaders have headed from Chocolates to boiled lollies in the space of a fortnight.

High scoring but not winning darcy should probably account for my REBCats this week as surely darcy's luck is due for a change. It's last chance time for a couple of teams with a varying chance of averting crisis. Poon Army faces a must win match against chardy with the loser likely to be fighting off relegation for the rest of the year. If Poon is to be a player this season he simply must account for chardy who is the lowest scoring team in Hogg Premier since matches began. The Quiddites also badly need a win but he faces a much tougher gig against Darksiders who look the goods yet again this season. It would be a mighty upset for the Q Man if he could beat the Darks and keep his season alive. Any team that is 1-5 is sinking fast in a 15 round comp so things are starting to get pretty tight.
