I picked them because "Demon" sides have a good record @ Mortlock Park. Thought the trend might continue... ;)

old farmer wrote:All clubs deal with incidents on and off the field, that is part of running a footy club, but deal with it and move on, don't dwell on the past. I'm sure Scott and Chris and the rest of the committee will sort it out today and play footy on saturday.

The drunk supporter and his family have been members of IFFC for over 20 years that i know of and could be a lot longer. He was even out on the track last week helping out. Can be a bit mouthy after a couple but overall harmless.

A footy club should be proud of it's history, good and bad. That is your clubs story, let it be told, your never going to change it. People run clubs and think they own it, it's everybody's club and they have a right to stay part of that club. How about a past players day and bring the farmers back together, old and new, and make our club great again.

there the problem lays only scott and chris to sort it out, the club needs help on and off the ground.
the guy is harmless but stirring crap over a period of time will get ya in trouble. the family are very nice people who have been around a long time.

the footy club has a long history of shooting itself in the foot dating back to 1979 and in the early 80s. i believe a past players day would be a great start to the rebuilding, but there must be respect for the coach and club if it is to work. the coach has had a hard job, not thru his own fault but things that took place when he got the job. he needs to stand up and finish the job and all farmers need to get behind him and wk to stay in Div 6 and then next year who knows.

OR has the damage been done and there is no turning back.

Round 8 is Gilly's 400th i think, will be almost a past players day anyway, so would be good for spirits if the club got the word out and made it a huge day. Triple header too

I've kicked 4 since under 7's so I'm not too worried about not snagging one. lol

You could say that Z-man. Mind you, there were a few missed that shoulda been kicked. 9.11 in the first didn't help either.

There seems to be some real good match ups coming up in the next 4 rounds. The percentage of both the bottom sides and the top sides indicates there is a fair distance between the top teams and the bottom teams and the top have been "Bullys" if you will with some of the bottom sides. Kenilworth and CLG have a very tough 4 weeks with WC and Lockleys at worst (On current form) should go 2 wins and 2 losses each.Trinity have run the gauntlet and come out not to shabby when you look at it, they will be around the top 3 i'd suggest and Paralowie I suspect are going to be stronger the 2nd half of the year along with Houghton. If you turn at 7 & 2 something will have to go horribly wrong to not get a top 3 at the end of the minor rounds. At this stage it looks as though 10 wins will get you a finals spot and I reckon 11 + % will get you top 3.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Or you realised you were wrong and that you don't know anything about the old guard, only what the people running the club now want you to beleive.
