why was race 9 at Grafton abandoned? I backed Thurlow and he had a ride in that race and Dolendo didnt. Is it just bad luck or do I get a refund?

As far as I know, unless the leader has an unassailable lead then all bets are refunded.

Not with one race being abandoned is it??? I think it's only if the rest of the meeting is abandoned..... Will be interesting to see!

can someone look up the results and tell me. I dont know where the JC results are on TAB sporstbet!
I would have thought it would be if the rest of the meeting was abandoned. I think I am clutching at straws. Thurlow was on a favourite and Dolendo had no ride, that is my luck

Yeah all bets stand its like if a jockey gets injured, after the first race of the jock unless the meeting was abandoned. Grafton R9 was abandoned due to the standing gates opening prematurely, the starter made the error and then the false start button wouldnt work or something. shambles...

Yeah good question Overloaded, I probably would say that unless someone had an unassailable lead then it would be called off, that has happened a few times due to weather and state of the track etc.

Anyone having a crack today, Day off and im keen to get a few up

Really cannot see Hugh Bowman getting beaten at Canterbury today but the $1.30 on offer is way too short to have a crack at.
