Another tough match today, Brahma were simply too good for us. Well done boys, thought Browny up forward, Cossi and Love to talk footy all played really well, expect form the heavy hit he copped last quarter, it was one the biggest hits I've ever seen. Won't be surprised if he cannot get on the computer to talk about the game, he's gonna have one hell of a headache tomorrow. Again we battled hard but were beaten by a well drilled team.
The umpires made some interesting decisions during the match. I never knew you could come up with so many different free kicks in so many similar situations.
We have Hope Valley next week and we need to regroup, have another crack and see where we end up at the end of it.

well said mate, yes our lovetotalkfooty got a fair good knock but he finished the game off and the umpires were bad they should just put there whistles away and let play go.. loved north havens endeavor to keep going till the siren went..
didn't like the coaching staff and bench and supporters giving number 1 **** and getting personal after the game was done and dusted

I took a photo just a fraction of a second before the good knock and the look on Lovetotalkfootys face indicates he knows he is about to get hit

indeed mighty, it was a fine contest, you would have enjoyed it.
biggest lead was the 22 pts by plympton at half time. they kicked 4 goals in the first 7 minutes of the 2nd whihc opened the game up but we fought back hard in the 2nd.
think they won in '09 by about 13 pts, then a draw last year and then us by 11 pts yesterday, so there's never been much in it.

Futhermore if you think every other side has the same lack of credibility to accept points you CLEARLY dont deserve you are mistaken. Aussie Rules Footy (particularly at amateur level) is about team spirit, courage, and mateship. Not about sharking points on a clerical error and then defending the SAAFL for handing them to you. As you would know most roles around a footy club are filled with volunteers and if they should be responsible for losing points for a simple clerical error then why would you do it..... We'll see how it pans out anyway I suppose but looking forward to the return bout sooooooo much more.
So where was your spirit and mateship, when you jumped ship and went to Elizabeth??
