Confidence breeds confidence. Maybe if it was 5.0 instead of 0.5 at the start, it might have been a different game, but to coin the phrase, "bad kicking is bad footy".

Losing Macca and Thring both around the same time wouldn't have helped the Rooster cause, especially as they have been tow of our better players this year.

I tell you what matt1, i'd be interested to see what you'd be like if the same injury happened to you. I'm sure you'd just get straight up and keep going  You certainly wouldn't go to hospital for scans, you sound way too tough for that. If only footballers were as tough as a bloke sitting behind a keyboard who has absolutely no idea of what damage was actually suffered in the incident.

Agreed Rod. I thought it was a bit of a cheap comment considering the guy was taken to hospital.

Well the Grog squad got quite excited about a hip and shoulder to the head in the third quarter , then they went back into their hole.

Game was destoyed with North's flooding tactics plus they kicked shockingly , which had an influence on the game after quarter time.

Our pressure was fantastic today and good to see us stand tall when North's went the hit.
If at first you don't succeed , then destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place

We may have done Glenelg a favour, and lulled the Eagles into a false sense of security.

Was that the one in the centre square and Lewis got the free? If it was, don't know what else Delvins could have done because he only took one step and Lewis, who had eyes on the ball trying to take it chest-height accidentally ran into him. I don't think Delvins was iniatially expecting contact, so he did well to only bump.

No, that wasn't it. I will take note on the replay at a later stage and let you know. Happened on the Eagles half forward flank, eastern side.

No worries. Can't picture that one.

Ran into young Aerie on the way out the ground nice seeing him again.
How can you miss so many shots on goal from close in is beyond me.When Jars coached you lot you would have smashed the eagles in the first term.
Number 5 for North could well be in strife throwing a few to a player lying prone on the ground .About a metre in front of the umpire.
WHUFC that bet looks good
what more could I say

Eagles not good but kicked 11 goals to 2 after half time.

And norths Seconds all over the Eagles first two minutes of their game.Kicked the first two goals Eagles kicked the next 8 .Started the day off perfectly .

Go you Eagles !!!

Poor kicking by North kept them out the game all day and when you have a defensive game plan, poor skills and don't man up then you have no hope.

Eagles to good and clinical when it counted. North playing with no confidence. Doesn't help when we are two players down before half time from gutless acts. Salter seriousoly has some anger issues but only picks on smaller blokes or hits them behind their backs or late. He is a coward.

As for the reports - watched it live and then went to the replay and Salter is in strife for his late bump on Thring which ended his game and he was reported according to Soders (see above), then whilst Thring is lying on the ground Grocke goes over and says something to which Macca reacts to support his team mate with a bit push and shove with Grocke who then cowardly punched Macca when he wasn't looking and he is off to hospital and Grocke reported. But to add salt into the wound - there was no free paid to North after two reports???

As for the Whyman incident late - let's hope it doesn't get to the Tribunal as the Eagles player may have some questions to answer as to using certain words so I have been told however Whyman is happy to leave it at that on the ground. Whyman reacted to that and all he did was forcefully grab the Eagles player at the bottom of his neck and wrestle him - no punch thrown so the Eagles supporters are a bit rich getting all worked up about that yet are happy to pay out Macca after being cowardly punched by Grocke!

As for that great bump by the North player on Lewis (I though it was Platten?) how could the umpire give a free for too high just goes to show how bad they are these days
