Congrats to norwood, thought before start of season they will improve but after seeing a trial and first game against bays i thought they had no chance, just need to keep T.Walker and continue with young players,2 massive wins last 2 weeks. This season in Sanfl is great to watch.

walker had a presence all night

i'd think the crowd was a fraction less than last week, my guess would be 5,200

Pretty good. Had 3.1 and by half time. Not sure what he finished with.

Norwood absolutely spanked us tonight. Worst performance in a long while for Bays. The question to be asked is do too many AFL players coming into the team upset the apple cart (so to speak)? I mean, on paper we looked great, but we did not fire a shot tonight.

Glenelg really struggled with Norwoods zone tonight.

Norwood = too big, too good, too skilled, too much heart
Glenelg = nothing.

Didn't hear an official figure given out but RPH estimated 4500-5000.

If I find one I'll add it to my opening post.

norwood were terrific they hunted in numbers, they gang tackled, their skills were almost faultless & they seem to do no wrong, glenelg on the other hand were slow, had a very poor skill & their decision making was non existent, i thought kirkby & al grima were our only 2 players on the park that could hold their heads up, as for norwood well i could mention 12 players & someone else could mention the other 9 & not be wrong as it was a complete team effort & they were equally as good this week as last week

well done to the 'legs they were way too classy for the tigers

ps, how many times was JAS mentioned on the 5rph call tonight ? :D

Ouch.

Norwood switched on from the start. Played with self-belief and played like they wanted to win. Only criticism is that they wasted a few shots on goal; the margin could have been another 20-30 points greater.

Glenelg has been worse, but tonight was thoroughly and completely outclassed by a superior opponent. I couldn't name one player who won his position. Plenty tried, but each was bettered.

Congrats to thee, jambes-rouges. A well deserved win.

norwood were far too good tonight

most things went for them tonight, the bounce of the ball seem to fall for them but they made it happen.

Was very impressed with simon Phillips, I thought he played an outstanding game, and he kicked a very handy goal from the scoreboard pocket and it was goals like that, that really did highlight that it wasnt to be our night.

I didnt think we were that bad up until half time, if we couldve got a few more clean disposals, some running and decent kicking into the forward line, but Norwoods pressure was sensational and we did the mini league move of the defenders up forward and forwards as defenders...

Norwoods last 2 weeks they have kicked big scores whilst holding the opposition to 10 goals combined.......

i cant believe we belted them by 76 pts only 6 or so weeks back

1/4 TIME
NW 3-1
GL 2-2

Nathan Bassett will tear strips off them again this week
NW did not come to play and took GL too lightly
NW were abyssMAL against ST in the first qtr last week
Much the same at 1/4 time tonight
Bassett needs to point out to the team that no opposition can be taken lightly
