On the positive, there's very little chance we will be relegated

Au contraire Monsieur. All teams ranked in the bottom four are up for relegation. If you finish 13th you play 16th in a 'relegation final' - lose that and you are relegated. If that coach has been deciding to look at his team and is only last because he hasn't been trading then he can close the gap real quick. Best to finish 1-12 chaps.

Division III Round 3

Year of the Tiger vs  Toolman
Boongas Bulldogs vs  Punk Roosters
Lioneaters vs  Carpe Diem
Marion ManBearPigs vs  Onegameatatimers
lodge lads '10' vs  Cork in the Ocean
Strawbsberries vs  TheWorstThereIs
Pigeon Stinge vs  pafc1870
Brownys Boys vs  Straycat Strut

In Division III we have the same situation as in Div V with the top two sides facing off in the match of the round. These games are crucial in the overall picture of how the season will turn out as we only play each other once in the minor round. Cork in the ocean and lodge lads '10' both have a massive percentage due to a farily soft draw so far so the loser could well be considered something of a pretender. At least that's what I'll be calling them. The lads from the lodge have been in pretty good form in the last few weeks and I reckon they might take the Cork down a peg or two.

At the other end of the ladder the loser of Strawbs Spuds and the Well named ones will be odds on for the spoon with both sides a fair chance of disappearing into Hogg Division IV next season. Strawbs Berries look ripe to be plucked but perhaps TheWorstThereIs couldn't be plucked selecting a side so Strawbs should salute.

Pretty happy the Corkies got over the line in Div III and the Cash League.
Did well in the Sydney/Brisbane game with direct opponents Brown & Grundy both scoring well over 100 each, plus other solid contributions.

Have burnt quite a few trades though and will need to leave the team alone for a while.

Ablett's withdrawal, after bringing him into the team, was bad enough, without losing Seaby two minutes into the match.

Division III Round 4

Year of the Tiger vs Lioneaters
Boongas Bulldogs vs Marion ManBearPigs
Punk Roosters vs Onegameatatimers
Toolman vs Carpe Diem
lodge lads '10' vs Pigeon Stinge
Strawbsberries vs Brownys Boys
TheWorstThereIs vs Straycat Strut
Cork in the Ocean vs pafc1870

This week is the big grudge match between workmates Year of the Tiger and the Lioneaters who have both performed reasonably well so far this season. The Lioneaters have been on fire this season but like the Crows won't want to drop the match against the Tiges or it will be hell around the office all week.

Match of the round this week is not the Ippy Derby but the match between Boongas Bulldogs and the Marion ManBearPigs. The winner of this clash will go 3-1 and will be set for greater glory. Apart from one poor week the ManBearPigs have been pretty solid all season long and I reckon nuggetys boys will end up in the Doghouse.

The other matches look a bit more straightforward with Straycat Strut, Cork in the Ocean, Toolman, Onegameatatimers, Browny's boys and the lodge lads the likely winners.

Bloody 5 zeros last week did not help the ol' onegameatimers. Well played Marion pigs. Good trading this week delivers Barlow & Big bad Johnny Brown.
Have gone from expectations of Manchester United (Top) To Burnley (Relegation).
Might be what my side needs to get the "Hunger"back :?

this should be a pearler... the doggies have a couple of handy inclusions this week plus almost a full quota of options in the squad, just Maguire (susp) and Warnock not available...

will need a 2200+ to have a chance but i reckon we're up to it this week!!!
