Son your ego's cashin' cheques your body cant cash
but never in doubt was our young Billy Bob, most talented cricketer to play for Sandy Creek since Vaughn Gray took the field against Elizabeth South back in '58.Talk around the gum tree at the moment is that Bill will have the ground named after him on his retirement. Tell you one thing though that Roberts is due to give it away did nothing this year there is some quality kids coming through and there comes a time in ones life where someone needs to say that its time to move aside to help these kids develop if we are going to move forward. Tim Lee certainly copped a pasting much to my disgust on here. Who does that Daysofourlives think he is?
At least our womens side showed some grit and brought home the silverware. Sick of the excuses, thats not true Sandy passion however it was the season we thought we would break through and thought we were the king pins coming into the Barossa Light competition well this seasons over and to that i say.

They shall grow not old,as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them

Wont you come and join us and ride the donkey too and then you'll be a member of the mighty cockatoos

lol. Great reading creekers , if only you were a real Cockatoo. We will push on and have another crack next season. AS for Roberts being to old and its time to move over , while he is making 300 and taking 39 wickets [not counting the finals] i think he keeps his spot.
Back to the creek it is.

Apparently there was a special meeting held on Monday night regarding the format of the BLCA A1 / A1 Reserve comps. If my mail is correct Kapunda put a last minute bid in to try to stay in the top grade and not be relegated to the Ressies. Also heard from not a real reliable source that Sandy Creek were the only team not to attend the meeting so a vote was taken and the decision unanimously was Kapunda to stay up and Sandy Creek to go down and play in the Reserves
