tucker and quin, were very good for mitcham, as well as number 19 up forward, whitey i think, was a star.

They would have wanted to play well... especially whitey... As a lot of quality players should hopefully be coming back into the side from injuries this week :) :P

Would love to have a sponsor like Igs have aswell thats paying him, if not for him ( sponsor ) he'd be still at Mypolonga wouldn't he?
He was on a $quid$ with you blokes & don't tell me he wasn't & is now playing for f--- all either.( at Igs )
Good player Joe Pedler no-doubt & as much as Old Igs dominated on saturday Joe Pedler kicked 3 of his 4 goals in the last 7 min on James, i thought James kept him relatively quiet after going on to him start of the 2nd qtr.
Iggies have alot of good strong bodies & focal points.
If Peds had dominated Seaton would of lost by 25 goals!

know peds well and one thing he isnt is a money chaser,he teaches at the school and the offer was made to have some coaching input to the team, was offered huge money elsewhere but decided to give this coaching thing a crack and teaching there helps as well,do your study, and as for portland mouthing off before the season, more talk and bullshit came from parahills and seaton people, should look back over the preseason posts and the big survey at the top

Aside from claiming to know an ex SANFL footballer 'well', your credibility is at an all time low maidenmagpie. YOU check the preseason posts and see how much self-promotion was said by Seaton &/or Para Hills people. KNOB.........

I dont remember anyone talking themselves 'up' actually - everyone was very keen to play down their own chances during the pre-season.

Everyone had up the smoke screens in pre season to avoid a situation where people can be caught with their pants down. I was reading all the mind games pre season and thought it was more so people talking up other teams chances and play down their own expectations!

I think because para hills seaton (through NM) and portland have a big presence on this forum so mayb some people are looking at bringing down these people. Tall poppy syndrome i susspose.

But in saying that im sure para hills and portland r not overly impressed with there current position. Seaton a good start minus last week. I guarantee cbc are taking all these teams seriously. Its a long season.

hit the nail on the head really
everyone but portland people were talking up portland, everyone but seaton people were talking up seaton and everyone but para hills were talking up para hills.
only thing I want to say was we knew it was never gonna be easy with quality sides like seaton coming down and it has shown (I used seaton as a example because they have div 1 experience). We have heaps of improvement to do before the end of the season.
Iggies have been the real surprise even though we were warned they were gonna be good!

Excuse my ignorance here, but what happened to that Lazarus bloke, im extraordinarily bored at work and was reading the first few pages of this thread and he was prominent, but he hasnt featured lately? Have the Moderators seen the light and blocked the diahorrea that he was spreading on here, or is he still about? Never a dull moment when that bloke lobbed up thats for sure!

You wont find a post of mine, or Fisty or Piccachu that has talked up any of our chances this year. Talking sh!t and banter on here are 2 different things too. Saying that, we have been very disappointing so far, but so have a few others. We are notorious slow starters and have a fair bit of work ahead i think.

While on the subjct of Piccachu and Fisty there Felch, how are the boys going in the Coaching. Fisty tells everyone that he is the Brains trust and Piccachu says that he is and Fisty is purely the Manager and does the paper work. Piccachu was telling me that Fisty has no idea and that he kept the team in the game last week when Fisty was looking for another Red Can.

Hahaha
good try with that one mate, we are going along ok at the moment, side still getting to know each other as alot of new blokes out. week 1 we were under the pump with only 18 players and last week we came up against some quality oposition in SMOSH. Looking forward to the rest of the season as we can improve as a side!

Hawks had 3 or 4 injuries out last week. But more importantly Mitcham have always had good depth and there's players in the B grade who are eyeing off spots in the A's. Its a good way for a club to be really! Quinn and Tucks both had great games. And Whitey also starred in the forward lines - however whitey did mention that he thought his direct opponent was hopeless! Hopefully there arent any injuries from the Smosh game, and we have all players to select from for the PH clash!

This is how farcical this league is becoming, this report was from round 2, the SRFC were not aware he was being investigated and no one from the amateur league contacted the SRFC to let them know a report had been made. Lucky TT you mentioned it on here or we may have never found out until it was too late. Get your act together PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dead right! A Pooraka player was reported to SAAFL by a players father and had to face tribunal two weeks after incident. Could really be opening a can of worms unless can is already open!
