Were probably all at home looking for our runners....i have a feeling Tuesday might involve some running

Goal kicking practice might be handy too.

Not sure it was goalkicking that let us down on the weekend, yeah there was alot of behinds, but out of our score but a big % of those were rushed behinds, due to poor delivery to our forwards giving their defenders every chance to bang it over the line.

Spotting up targets and forward 50 entries need working on IMO

On the weekend in the A grade vs Smithy one of the umpires gave Lodge a 25m penalty because a group of Smithfield supporters were giving the umpire a bit of stick. Does that happen very often? Never seen it before.

Lost count of balls coming into the F50 which were bombed in or placed on the forwards head instead of to the leading player or kicking to advantage.

Different Mad Dog mate, Ty Duerdon from North Haven is the one that is asked about every week by SS.

I have heard of it happening before but cannot believe it. I also saw a free kick given against CU once because a spectator took to long to return the ball after a point was scored. Didnt think this was possible and had no effect on the game result but in a different situation im sure alot could have been said.

I dont think this guy from Smithfield can proclaim to be mad dog. There is only one true mad dog. Ty Duerden was quoted in the advertiser as being a Mad Dog, surely that justifies his place. And apparently the way he sings and moves up and down the runway also cements his position as the true mad dog

If there's something that caught my attention on Saturday's match against the Lodge is their ability to spoil, we had to work hard for nearly every mark. They seemed to be able to make contests when they weren't anywhere near the picture initially.

well 4 weeks into the season everybody has lost and the uncertainty each week on who will win, causes me to ask the following questions and i look forward to peoples thoughts

1. how many wins needed to finish minor premier................... normally 14-15
2. how many wins needed to get double chance ................... normally 12 plus good %
3 how many wins needed to make top five ..........................normally 9-10 plus %
4 how many wins to avoid relegation................................... this varies but 5 plus % perhaps

given these are in a normal season how do you think the numbers will stack up being such an even comp. look forward to your input
fwiw i think they may be all a bit lower with the relegation one being the exception

Division 5 2005, we were playing Ingle Farm for minor premiership in the last round at their ground. This is how the points ended up after that round.
Ingle Farm 26
Mitcham 25
Adel. Lutheran 24
Glenunga 24
Smithfield 24

Golden Grove 17
Hectorville 16
Brahma Lodge 12
Mitchell Park 8
Kaurna Eagles 4

I don't think there is no set amounts of wins to gaurantee a certain position, this season is certainly shaping up to be a cracker.
