Gazza - that is a shit comment and you know it! Alleway is one of a few players that plays 100 percent with passion each week. Might be handy if he could play in the fwd line for the whole game and not have to carry our rucks in the absence of 3 other ruckman not being available at North.

To suggest he is not at the SANFL level smacks of arrogance to the max!

Aint that the truth! North were pathetic - just wait til I sober up and really get into it!

PS - MOTLOP you are a disgrace - your effort in throwing that Centrals players head into the fence was pathetic and cowardly and no wonder the Centrals players rallied around their team mate!

The incident happened straight in front of me, the only thing I saw spectators do was 1 stood between Gowans and Motlop, didn't use his hands at all, the other tried to use his hands to protect Motlops head as it was about to be rammed through the concrete, put them under his head.

We're on our way to James Gowans being entirely at fault here

Not at all, If a Central player had rammed a North players head into the fence I would hope that his team mates reacted just as the Central players did today.

Here's my summary of the Motlop incident in the pocket. I was 5-10m away.

Motlop lays a fairly heavy but legal tackle on a Centrals player near the boundary as he's disposing of the ball.
Centrals player retaliates and they wrestle and get up and exchange a couple of minor jumper punches.
Motlop flings the player into the fence head first in what can only be described as a bloody dangerous thing to do.
The Centrals player remarkably keeps gets up and keeps wrestling and about 4 mates including one of the Gowans come over to assist.
They wrestle Motlop over the fence until he's practically falling head first onto the concrete on the other side. A few supporters move in, one gets close to Gowans and gives him some verbal and the other tries to stop Motlop from hitting the concrete.
After some delay Weslo come around and just hang around, even standing right next to me for a few minutes before chatting to the guy who went near Motlop. The guy then gets escorted out.

I don't for a minute condone supporters going near players and hence I stayed out of it but I can understand how things happen in the heat of the moment. Talk of players being whacked is crap IMO, I was less than 10m away and didn't see any of that happen. Either way it was ugly and the aftermath was bemusing.

As for Centrals, thought their supporters were good today and in good numbers, the side was too strong, disciplined and hungry for us once again. How a side that's been in the past 10 GFs can want it more than one which hasn't had any success for nearly 20 years is beyond me, but full credit to Centrals.

North, I don't know what to say or think anymore. After last week I was shattered to lose but hopeful. Now I just feel flat.

Never mind hat happened with Motlopgate
Of more importance was the fact that Chris Gowans had a hot dog for lunch today

Any spectator that hits a player deserves a lengthy ban from SANFL matches - completely inexcusable.

btw i think the wrong bloke got escorted out, because i don't think any man that would be in his 60's would do this

Geez you saw it all mate, I was 30cms to 5 metres away from the incident but am keen for your ongoing commentary with your eagle eyes.

The incident in the pocket involved a north supporter who i actually seen try pushing Ryan Williams at least 2 or 3 times. Disgraceful effort by that by that person who was wearing either a Suderland or Stoke City shirt. At no stage should supporters get involved in onfield matters.
Anyway it was a brilliant win to the dogs today and a big cograts to Swooper on a fine 200th game. UUUU DOGS!!!!

"Good to see the Tigers weren't completely left out of round six. The Glenelg club song was played after North's win over Central in the Reserves on Sunday. Hmm."

Didn't they play the South song after a game last year when they weren't playing?

Maybe the BBQ wrappers organise the club songs as well ...

Unfortunately it's not an isolated case. This sort of thing happens with embarrassing regularity at Prospect. The song was started then stopped then started a second time

Hasn't been the same since you abandoned them.

On another note, sad to see a North supporter who has recently swapped over to Centrals. He looked quite happy strutting around in his new Centrals hat and scarf.

Is that a joke. I understand if he's 10 years old but I don't think he is. "Let's follow the winners only". Sounds like primary school to me.
