The incident involving Motlop was fairly ugly. If it had happened during an AFL game, Motlop would of got over a month at least.

Dogs bounced back well from last weeks effort,Hardy played well and thought our two ruckman in griffin and Buckets gave us first use of the ball all day.
North were behind the eight ball all day having no recognised ruckman and having to interchange Alleway and Stewart out of the forward line.
Well done to swooper on his 200th game and nice goal in the last Qtr,the fact that we have 6-8 players to come back in looks good for the business end of the season just dont know how we will get them all in if everyone is fit and firing.

Sadly today, as previously posted, WESLO Security showed their incompetence by allowing 2 NORTH ADELAIDE supporters to become involved in an incident which spilled over the fence in the forward pocket. Then this spectator decided to exploit WESLO's incompetence by 'running away' from them. And they call us ferals....

Any spectator that hits a player deserves a lengthy ban from SANFL matches - completely inexcusable.

Whilst Weslo were incompetent in at least 3 or 4 degrees today especially considerint that incident, how exactly were they incompetent for kicking the 2 people out that were involved and not being in the exact spot the incident happened when less than seconds ere involved? Its not like Weslo can have someone on every inch of the fence as it was a split second incident.
Bamboozling comment.
I was closer than one of the people that were kicked out so am interested in your response.

Not sure why they would escort them out of the ground if they had just assaulted a player on the field, should they not have escorted them to the police so that the appropriate charges could be laid?

The incident on the wing didn't have any Security within 80 metres of it and noone was kicked out, it wasn't even really an incident except for the fact a player ended up on the wrong side of the fence as occurs quite often at Prospect because of the stupidly low fences, it was the incident in the pocket that had 2 people kicked out.
I can even tell you exactly what security were doing when the incident on the wing occurred as I was near them all.
Mind you bayman's telling the story, let him expand.

Geez you saw it all mate, I was 30cms to 5 metres away from the incident but am keen for your ongoing commentary with your eagle eyes.

Lets all get 1 thing straight. No spectator struck any player. A couple of spectators got involved in the Motlop incident, when it became apparent that Motlop could of got seriously injured. It happened very quickly, and was over just as quick. In fact I think Gowans enjoyed having a crack at another clubs supporter.

settle down mate, you've managed to turn this into an incident where you claim 'supporters were trying to stop motlop from getting seriously injured'
can't get away with that one, this supporter deserves a lifetime ban

Seen the entire incident, and the only physical contact I saw was Gowans giving a spectator a nice old shove. I agree spectators shouldn't get involved, but like I said, it happens quickly.
Not overly concerned. It was the most exciting thing for the day. Glad the Centrals player came out of the incident okay. I think it was O Hara? Could of been nasty.
