Windy conditions as always and we had 2 good quarters with it, and backline held us together against it.
Good effort by NH boys, had a real crack, good luck for the rest of the year.

possibily the worst ground in australia to play on! condition of the oval is a disgrace! and footy should not b played on it till something is done. i'm sure it's not the clubs fault, so the council need to get there **** together. only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt out there...

Cheers mate well played AL, the fast start in the first quarter was probably the differance for you guys. Another dissapointing loss, meaning were now 0 and 4 and facing up against the Blodge this week is doesn't get any easier for us. Just gotta get out to training on tuesday and thursday do the right thing one the track and go into next weeks game and give another crack.
BOG yesterday had to be Rowan Miegel the guy is a gun and rightfully dominated yesterday kicking 4 goals and taking a truckload of marks. Interesting to see he didn't really ruck and played at Centre Half Forward for most of the game and ran a muck, we just didn't have an answer for him. I reckon he he stays fit and plays for Lutheran all year he'll be right up there for the D5 medal.
Also Catch don't know if it's true or not but was told yesterday that you get nearly 100 blokes out to training and 30 blokes miss out each week. Is this true and if it is couldn't you guys have a D grade?

Yeah apparently 20+ missed out for this game.
Not enough for D grade because we will get injuries/unavailabilities soon and this large number will drop.
Training has 70+ usually, obviously provides good depth, which is great with our B and C grade playing good footy and putting pressure on the seniors..

Yeah we were extremely disappointed to not come away with a win after being 2 goals up at 3 qtr time. After being held for most of the day, B Halliday dominated the centre in the last and gave Eliz mids everything on a platter and our boys just seemed to switch off.
Could have been 4-0 and clear on top!![]()
Ah well, well done Eliz. 3 good wins and a good day all round.
Also have to mention how BAD the umpires were in the main game yesterday. Didn't favour either side, but were just terrible. I'm sure the Eliz boys would agree! Consistently making shocking decisions! Mr Lewis needs to stick to his day job!!!

Lodge B grade won by 15ish goals, after 3 quarters of average footy. LM, well umpired today in the B's, was great to have a game not ruined by umpires.

Cheers mate, made some errors, it makes it easier when both umps are on the same wavelength, I think all of the umpires I've seen this year have been good.

A tribute to Chef Pauline and all concerned...
I quite understand why the visitors rooms need to be dramatically reduced and only one light provided to ensure that the Master Chef gets all the power she needs
Not pulling the preverbial....an enjoyable day and fantastic club
