Despite the respective win/loss records of both clubs, i'm not overly confident of a win.

Showdowns are generally a 50/50 game, and i think this week's game is no exception really.

I hope Hartlett stays across half back, and it would be good if Salter comes in as his SANFL form has been very good and he is such an accurate kick. Lobbe should also retain his spot as he is a genuine ruckman unlike Trengove and Westhoff.

If Logan is still suffering from the effects of concussion it may be a good excuse to bring Broadbent in, as he's been in very good form in the SANFL recently.

If Port plays with the same intensity it did against the Saints, I think we'll win. If they relax as they have a tendency to, then they could be in trouble.

Dont see any problems with this week mate. We have an in form on ball brigade in Boak, Rodan, K.Cornes, Salopek and Thomas ( who was good on Hayes Saturday night I thought ) and our back line is in good touch with Carlile,Chaplin and The Chad up and running. Add Harltetts poise, Krakouer's skill and the back half and mid-field will win their fair share.

Gray will play forward this week and expect Shultz to have a big one against the Crows.

Port 39 points.

Crows are playing like passionless cyborgs. Port playing like they have some team spirit back, which should be enough to get them over the line.

Port in a canter, assisted by the Cow's complete inability to play anything that resembles football.

Providing we attack the footy with gusto and put massive pressure on them when we're not in posession, we'll get over the line easy IMO.

Reckon this is around the mark (and btw I thought Tommy was sensational for you blokes on Sat night) .. Port in good nick and coming off a stirring win which could often be followed by a let down, yet not when a Showdown is your next game.

Reckon it might be a tad closer than the 39 points though, so I'll say Power by 24 points.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Crows got up and surprised Port here, but if Port play the way they did against the Saints, the Crows have no chance!

but i think Port will be too good and win by 25 points.

Port are favourites by a mile regardless of how much they like to shrug off that favourite tag.
In saying that it wouldn't surprise me to see the Cows win.

What more incentive do Port need. Win this and the Cows are gawnski !

If that's not enough to fire them up for a win then nothing is.....

Sorry Power fans but I'm tipping the Crows this week. Port still tired out after last weekends game.

You wonder if Port are still dwelling with over inflated ego's after the win against St Kilda.
That can be their undoing.
