Iggies to smash seaton by 6 goals or more
SMOSH 2 good for mitcham - by a street 6 goals of more
Princess boys 2 good for Scotch - with a bit of feeling in it due to venue change. 10 goals or more
cbc to absolutely destroy kilburn by a cricket score. 120 points or more
thunder boys to smash para hills by plenty. 6 goals or more

Old Ignatians v Seaton Ramblers - considering the flogging they gave us last week, hard to go past them.
SMOSH West Lakes v Mitcham - lost to a decent SMOSH side last year by 1 point, think we can get the points this year. Should be a good hit out.
Scotch OC v Prince Alfred OC - should be an absolute flogging.
CBCOC v Kilburn - will be an absolute flogging
Para Hills v Portland - even with big ins for PH, think Portland might just get up.

to be honest i thought that para hills just had too few doing to much, guys like flynn, bamford and the big bald bloke who plays in the guts need to do too much to get them over the line. ive heard they have some quality out but come the last quater we were 4goals up at 3/4 time and kicked the first couple so it was all but over because those blokes had worked there tails off.

i thought in general it was a good even game but we just seem to get more consistent ball out of the guts and kept bamford to probably only 15-20 touches instead of his 35+ and so got the most of them. (didnt tag him just got first touch so was contained somewhat)
the umps were not too bad imo, but again they seem to be whistle happy. not sure if its because of sloppy footy or that they have been told to keep a tight lid on things but they seem to blow it a lot.

still had 41 bud, unfortunetly got alot of underdone players should have a couple handy inclusions this week with 3-4 startin a graders back, use boys are definitly top 2 this year[/quote]

no way he had 41. yes hes a gun but was certainly not a massive impact on the game.

Old Iggies - Only Just in the match of the round..
SMOSH - Bounce back despite six day break at home.
PAC - Form team of the comp.
CBCOC - Good weather, could get ugly.
Para Hills - Always a tought road trip out there, think PH are due. Portland will give it a crack though. Brutal encounter beckons!

Few teams staring down the barrel of a poor starts.

Theoretically, Para Hills, SMOSH and Portland could all be 1-3 after this weekend. Three teams a lot of people expected to be around the top 4-5.

Seaton to beat old iggies:hardness at the ball to hurt older bodies. 3 goals
Mitcham to beat smosh. nice home ground advantage, smosh too many injuries 7 goals
Paoc to beat scotch: easy 8 goal win, scotch to be in it early
cbc to pump kilburn 20 goals
portland to edge out para hills 2 goals
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

exactly what i was thinking, but that is usually the strong part of his game using the footy effectively, must be either getting alot of in and under handballs on getting cheapies in the back 50 if the opposition thought he only had 10- 15 touches

Marshall is the only dinosaur but plenty of blokes around the age of 30. Wouldnt call that a young side.
