i see us as in a similar position to mount lofty in 2005, who after not winnning a game for 2 or 3 years managed to finish 5th by adding some great recruits to a bunch of loyal young locals... and we all know what happened with that group.

we are obviously the underdog on saturday but i reckon its our time.

Just a tip Vaughan, in 2005 we were urged to keep our enthusiasm in check to be used solely on the footy field.

From experience, I can comfortably say it's far better to keep quiet before a game and revel in the satisfaction of a good result AFTERWARDS. The knockers will still come and sledge you from all directions, but it doesn't matter if you're a winner.

Really makes one wonder if your heart was ever at bridgey because even if you have a problem with the club, you wouldn't say the crap you do. How can you expect them to progress when people read the s*** you write about them on here. Of course they'll think twice about playing there. If you really felt for the club and some people there you would just cut off all together and don't reply.
Bridgey are getting better in every aspect, bar the oval, full credit to them for trying to rid the club of people who aren't there for the club and are just there to course shite!

I would expect them to progress by working extremely hard off the field and turn the club around, you are extremely short sighted and narrow minded if you think quality recruits are going to make a decision on whether or not they will play at a particular football club by reading this forum, that makes me laugh extremely hard. Soon you will be telling me to believe everything that V-man has to say. This is an open forum and each poster can claim whatever they like, V-man is over the top and needs to be put back in his place that's all.

Missing players on the weekend were Bartemucci, Lomas, Wagnitz, Dubois, Gallagher, Hein, Colman, Kaeslar and Johnson injured himself in the warm up(although I think he still played for some of the first quarter). All will play this year as far as I know. But thats only as an answer to the question. The reason for the loss has already been explained by Silky Skills.

Haha, will he be able to provide us with an explaination if the Cows lose on Saturday?
