Who did Elizabeth have out today Custardarm? Looked like about at least 3 from last week?

rogers and donnelly and woodlands was perhaps biggest loss as he left us maybe a forward short today but BL were far too good regardless

Yeah agreed #6 stood out to me for Brahma. How fast is he? geez

very good win....
Lodge would jump into to odds on favs i reckon... paying $1.60 for the flag

For mine Eliz lacked any real pace and if the game was played on a larger ground BL would have won by a lot more.
BL def flag favs at the minute

Sitting back watching and heckling, that is what I noticed too. With the Lodge, players like Brett Aldridge, Michael Hayes, Falkenburg, Groover have awesome acceleration and can take the game on and break lines. Good to watch. Even old man Sibbick still goes alright, can make the game seem in slow motion when he gets the ball.

Good luck to Eliz for the rest of the year, I have no doubt they will be there deep in the finals.

Hmmmm, interesting game of footy between BL and Eliz.

BL definately deserved the win. Eagles had no match up for mc intyre, lacked pace (or allowed BL to use theirs to effectively, which we can not afford to do) and thirdly had no forward line. Our gun players had poor days imo.

The return leg we will need to improve significantly and we will.
Harsh but fair.....

I no that but a lot of the new players went there to play "a" grade, not "B" grade.

If they are good enough they will play A grade...since when has competition for spots in the A grade or B grade been a negative? Im sure if they are really unhappy they can put in for a clearance to another club.

Few latecomers sniffing for an A grade premiership??? Then leave again once they get high enough to start being a mid range team in a division. Not really fair on the blokes that have been there all season. Wouldnt be too happy if i was in the bottom 2 of BLs A grade. Just my 2 cents

Good hitout by the blodge sunday, thought scott mac was outstanding kicking 9 on probaly one of the best backmen ive played with! hickey, skippa and anzac medalist hasey, bells and bretty were all class. Back 6 were awesome again. Good vibe around club with blokes like ryno, brenno, Rv , hooters to come into side, looking forward to this week when we take on old sons side the panthers!

Yeah mate, he's still an assistant out there, he should get more than half of the remaining games in for us, he'll get better with more match fitness, very good with his effective disposals.

Not very good with his ineffective disposal then?

No, I can't recall any turnovers from his boot, so whatever you mean, I'm sure you know what you're on about.

Yes, there is some merit in that statement, we are getting found out a bit at the moment trying to cover early injuries, our injury list seems to be growing and hopefully we start seeing some return, it's the quality of our "outs" that is hurting the most.
We shoud be able to come home stronger in the back 9 but we can't lose too much ground in the meantime.
