Just get to sleep about 3.30am and get woken up by some kinda street fight.

Listening to the 5aa show this morning and Chris Dittmar prefaces a statement with "I'm not wearing my Port Adelaide hat with this comment". Now that gives me the sh*ts!
FGS, he sleeps with the bloody thing on, that's probably why his wife left him!

The revolting meat and vegetables they have at the IGA. I swear they just package the most rotten bits of offal and compost they can get their hands on, because they know it's the only place open around for miles on a public holiday and that people will buy it because they're desperate. Putting 'Steak' on a big grey lump of dead walrus or whatever it is, does not automatically make it steak.

It was an ordinary person wearing a striped shirt.) I was driving past and was like, 'Hey, a mime!' and then I had a second look to make sure it was a mime (because they're not exactly a common sight in suburban petrol station carparks) and next thing I'd run into the kerb. Fortunately I was only going at about 10 kph at the time.

I would have thought the giveaway here would have been the mime pumping up an ACTUAL bike? :-k :D

On that second part, at one or two local servos, I've seen a couple of people miming working though.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Oh! Aren't they TERRIBLE! their fruit and veggies look like they've been sitting there for months and their meat - well I'm not even going there but I reckon "fresh" meat is supposed to be red, not brown!

they should be ashamed selling crap like that - really!

*edit* just on the IGA thing though, my local IGA (cnr of Grand Junction and NE rd) has pretty good meat, I know it used to be packed fresh by a local butcher. Bought BBQ packs from there a few times and was pretty good quality - and they have beautiful fresh vietnamese rolls too....great to stick bacon and eggs in 8)

I had to laugh at some of the reactions to his concert being pulled, especially that bimbo who said 'People came here from Perth for this concert'. Perhaps if you weren't behaving like animals then the concert wouldn't have been pulled...

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Doing WORK on maternity leave. Apparently I am supposed to present a research proposal when I go back to uni, but I haven't started it yet so I have to do it now. The worst part is that there are strict guidelines, so I have to speak in proper English and I can't throw in any impromptu songs/dances/wine tasting demonstrations/pictures of David Hasselhoff this time. :(
