Low-intensity blasts outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore delayed the start of the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. The explosions took place outside gate No. 12 of the stadium about 30 minutes before the toss was scheduled to take place.

The semi-finals of the 2010 IPL have been moved out of Bangalore and will be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The decision, announced by IPL commissioner Lalit Modi, was made following the two low-intensity blasts at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore shortly before the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians was due to begin on Saturday evening, and the recovery of two unexploded devices over the subsequent 24 hours.

"We don't want to take any chances. We want to ensure the safety of our players and spectators alike," Modi said from Dubai, where he is attending an ICC meeting, when he made the announcement

The IPL governing council has ejected Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab from the league on charges of transgression of shareholding and ownership norms that threatened to "shake the very foundation of the tender process", while granting a temporary breather to the Kochi franchise to put its house on order.

The end for Warnie? I'm sure someone else will throw Brett Lee a lifeline given his profile over there.

This really doesn't seem right. From what I gather they were ejected for changing ownership structures. Sounds a bit pathetic to me. I wonder if there are ulterior motives or perhaps there's more to it that hasn't come out.
