Chopper: "I'm just a bloody normal bloke. A normal bloke who likes a bit of torture."

Keith Read: [to Chopper, who's ears have been sliced] "Cheers, big ears!"

Chopper: "He couldn't knock the fluff off a cappuccino."

Chopper: “Just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean people aren’t trying to kill me!”

Chopper: "I haven't shot anybody since 1992, and even then I didn't do it"

Chopper: ""I know most of you out there hate my guts, I'm not a very popular person, but you drink and you drive you're the same as me, you're a murdering maggot just the same as I am."

Chopper: ""I do all my fighting with a gun in one hand and a cup of tea in the other. While the world is full of people who could bash me, the world is not full of people who could bash me and live to talk about it. Thats why god invented razor blades, butchers knifes, iron bars, meat axes and guns that go bang, so blokes like me dont get bashed ten times a day before breakfast"

Chopper: ""He looked quite surprised when I pulled out my trusty meat cleaver and slammed it down on the bar, removing his four fingers at the knuckle"

Watched the first half of Kenilworth v Lockleys today. Here's my summary;
Lockleys started the game kicking with what looked to be a 3-4 goal breeze and they didn't mess around. Lockleys ran the ball very well, far more efficient than the kookas. Kenilworth very undisciplined early. Number 6 made front on contact with a Lockleys player and should get 3 weeks rest. He was given, some coloured card and I didn't see him again during the first half. Croucher was getting frustrated, probably at his own game and the teams and got sent off for, what looked to be verbal abuse at the umpire. About 5 mins into the game it looked like it was going to be a very tight tussle. However, something happened. Lockleys got their running game going and Kenilworth went missing. No. 4 for Lockleys (possible full forward) looked very dangerous every time the ball came into the forward line. Lockleys looked very tall, as a team and much fitter, faster, better skill level and they applied far more pressure on the opposition than the kookas. I have not seen Lockleys plays for a few years so hard for me to judge, but they looked very impressive and I would think they would be in the top half of the ladder come September if they play all year like the first half today.

At 1/4 time it was 8.3.51 to 3.2.20. And so the second quarter. I thought this would give kenilworth the chance to kick with the wind. It didn't matter. Lockleys pressure was superb. Kenilworth were fumbly, missed targets, turned the ball over and quite frankly looked second rate. By halfway thru the second quarter Kenilworth players were arguing with the umpire. By half time it was game over. 14.6.90 to 5.5.35. The last couple of minutes of the second quarter got quite scrappy, I think due to the fact Kookas were tired and praying for half time.

Darth or others who know Lockleys may answer this for me. No 3 for you guys. He impressed me. I know it's only half of football but I like the way he plays the game. What's his story.......

I left at halftime thinking if the heavens don't open up this is going to get ugly for kenilworth. the skill level of Lockleys, their run, delivery and willingness to back each other up, create options and hit targets impressed me and I would suggest they will go well this year. However Kenilworth looked like the kookas of old, poor skills, no run, unfit, slow and undisciplined. I hope they just had an off half of football. I will say one thing, thank god they have Justin Salisbury. the big fellow kicked 2 goals in the first half, one of them on the run after a couple of bounces. for a bloke his age I take my hat off to him. I know it's Div 6, BUT you still have to get in there and get the ball. I saw plenty of his team mates that couldn't do that.
Has anyone seen Sammy G, the KING of Teringie.

I've seen Kenilworth, CLG and Lockleys and thus far Lockleys have been the most impressive.

I very lazy, unfit, undermanned, unaccountable Ingle Farm duly got pasted today from WC.

Showed in patches good footy and but unfortunately i think until they learn to play proper team orientated footy including manning up and sticking to position instead of following the ball like u/9s then results like this will continue against quality opposition.

Injuries cursed the side today though with no bench after the 1st quarter after a send off, a hammy strain, and a dislocated elbow. Few blokes fought hard with injuries throughout the game.

Travis Uern and Josh Hawkesworth easily the best for the Farmers.
