I think the pendulum has swung back in the Norwood direction a little.

Hopefully with a little more midfield pressure from Port Adelaide, he won't get the silver service delivery of last time and have to actually work for his possessions.

I think with the way our midfield has been going mate he'll be needing to fetch his own ball regularly .. Who would be his likely opponent from your mob? Im guessing Lokan would be a chance to see how he (Walker) handles the physical close-check?

Lokan wont play, there was some talk of Trengove coming back, he may play on him. Maybe Slattery will get a shot as well.

Reckon Trengove played well on Rowe in a game last year, would be interesting to see which he went to if he did play.

Either way, you'd imagine one of Rowe or Walker will have a big day out!

According to the AFL website, Scott Stevens has been passed fit to play football this weekend but Adelaide have mentioned it may not yet be with the Crows.

His wife is currently in labour with thr impending birth of their first child and Craigy has supported Scott in staying in Adelaide to be by her side and not fly to Melbourne this afternoon to play against the Bulldogs tomorrow night.

So if that does eventuate with Scott staying here in Adelaide, he will line up with the Port Magpies and as mentioned above by a couple of posters, I would think he may get the job on Taylor Walker. Or possibly even Cameron Cloke if he doesn't get picked by the Power.

Has worked both ways for us...
Jonothan Ross was once a pretty good player and was on the Crows list for a while.
Only played a handful of AFL games I reckon and a couple of times he was called up the week of a match vs Port.

As a mark of respect will the Norwood players be wearing black arm bands for the Melbourne Storm ?

Great to read in the 'Tiser that Craig Balme will be there to toss the coin before the first bounce.

And Gordon Pickard has put up the $20,000 prizemoney to the winners once again like last season.

Well done Gordon, no doubt money that will be a very nice little bonus for either side.
