If people aren't allowed to do this, then there is something wrong with the world.

One of my favourite Red Faces acts.....Whispering Kamahl ......wouldn't have got a gig!

Time for us all to take a deep breath and regain our sense of humour.

Couldnt have put it better myself!

Enjoyed the last two weeks, thought they may have shown alot more older stuff but they did seem to avoid doing that, think there would be a place for it maybe pre and post footy season for 6 weeks on a Saturday maybe.
Trust the process.

It's not surprising that people in this country dont understand about blackface theatre, it's origins and why it is considered racist in the USA. It's not part of our history.

There's no doubt the blokes doing it didn't intend it to be racist.

What a lot of people seem to miss is that they had as a judge, a jazz musician from New Orleans. It'd be like telling a joke about Darren Millane to a Collingwood supporter.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I might be petty, but just call it Hey Hey if they're gonna put it on a Wednesday, very annoying IMO

Very happy that the Pacific is on the other channel to keep me occupied. Will not be giving it even a 'ad break' flick. It was great in it's day, but I fear that this comeback will ruin those fond memories.

Why is it so hard for tv execs to come up with new material these days?? :(

It's baaaaaaaack...and Chook Lotto will be legit this time (though there's still mystery over whether Jackie McDonald will be back for this run).

Can't wait for it, going to be a good night tonight.

I actually enjoyed the reunion shows. They brought back plenty of good memories and were generally a lot of fun.

Last night I tuned in to the 1st half hour though and was pretty disappointed. I ended up switching to GO to watch a Seinfeld episode that I'd seen about 20 times.

If it's still running in the 2nd half of the year I'll be surprised. If it's still running next year I'll be positively amazed...

Same, watched as far as Red Faces and then gave it up ... I was a huge fan of the show years ago, but I reckon Daryl is struggling with hearing, reading and spur of the moment thinking too often.

There were a few laughs from Dicky Knee but that was about it.

Only way I could see the show being highly popular again was if they replaced all of the regular members with younger people, and of course even then they would need to get the replacements right.

That said, I would hope Lavinia (sp??) would stay as an exception to the above :D

Tomorrow night should be good with Ossie back for another show, and Jackie McDonald back to draw Chook Lotto - get your numbers in :D

EDIT: Jackie has the flu and won't be coming down, but will still be making an appearance via video link.

Favourite Hey Hey moment? When they canned it.

Watched 44 seconds of it last night and I dont want to ever see any of it again.
