I was going to mention Arnfield. Made a career of it.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I hate them.

Yeah, that makes sense, lets kick every club out of the comp that we hate. going on that rationale, there would only be 1 club left as i assume most supporters hate most other sides apart from their own.

And the fact that u HATE Port is more the reason u should be happy to have them in the comp as Wins against teams u detest the most are the sweetest victories of all.

"In a further development last night, Port Adelaide boss Mark Haysman conceded on 3AW that Surjan had not communicated the tingling sensation in his arm and neck that had allegedly provoked the stretcher call.

Previously Haysman's explanation was that the club's senior doctor, Mark Fisher, had ordered the stretcher upon learning of Surjan's condition. Surjan, 24, was standing upright when the stretcher arrived and, despite being carried from the ground and placed in a neck brace, he appeared fit after the game as he celebrated with his teammates.

Now we know this a crock of 5hite now.

The t.v footage cleary slowlys the stretcher out on the ground before anyone has been anywhere near Surjan.

So unless Surjan could scream over 100 meters and be heard by a trainer in a stadium with 30000 people.

Much like Port Powers history they cant decide what club line there going to go with on this issue either. Very indecisive bunch down at Alberton.

The fact that like every other Cows supporter, you have no idea about football. ;)

Aah, stereotyping DA. The rebuttal would be something like 'being a Port supporter means':

a) you are missing teeth,
b) you are unemployed, and
c) you bash your wife

There's more, but you probably get the picture.

I hate stereotyping!

Its not in the spirit of the game hence the fine system that has been bought in to clamp down on staging.... Kane Cornes in particular!

As for your last sentence well obviously they didnt care because they ran out told him to lay on the ground and carried him off

Yep Kane Cornes is the number one stager in the AFL......maybe you should get your clown coloured blinkers off

He on the AFL DVD re staging

Is this DVD available somewhere? (i assume its the umpiring/rules dvd)

I'm heading to Sportsmed this afternoon lads, and my doctor is none other than Dr Mark Fisher, the Port Adelaide club doctor. Will let you all know what he says about it.

I feel sorry for Kane as the entire side took a huge pansy dive after half time.

Must have conveniently missed Didak drop like a stone after Zac Dawson brushed him a couple of weeks ago. Resulted in a goal.

Seriously, if they are going to pick up crap like that there will be blokes getting pinged game after game. Not defending Kane Cornes, just highlighting the fact he isnt the only one to try and con the umps.

Was there a free kick paid to Kane? The only reason I ask is that I reckon the mrp won't warn a player for diving when that player has received a free for his dive as with Didak's case (I was waiting for him to be warned all week after that one and it never came). It would make them (umpires) look more stupid then they already do.

I agree. That Didak one was a disgrace and what made it worse was that the umpire fell for it (parden the pun...) and gave him a free in front of goal.
1. Didak should have been fined. His knees had almost buckled before Dawson touched him !!
2. The umpire should have been suspended for his poor interpretation.

This problem won't go away, it will only get worse as some umpires fall for it and some dont and the interpretation gets clouded even more...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
