Yeah looks like doesn't it

mmmmmm
Well said!!

maybe remarks should be kept to yourself about opposition teams
doesnt take long for the egg to splat!

Rosewater have gone alot younger this year and ups and downs are going to be expected with the young lads
Not saying Rosewater are going to win every game but i think youll find they will be alot more competitive than round 1
Looking at the reserves scores there isnt alot of depth so that will also influence results if they get injuries.

Yeah a bit early for a prediction. Good for you guys to get a win yesterday, big match for you blokes coming this week against Hope Valley.

well said tired tiger in regards to the northern sububs call its something that i know we down this way have put up with for far to long we are proud of were we are from and im sure the smithfield/eliz boys will vouch for that. think the whole triple header games is just brillant this year just such a good day and getting to see all your sides playing on the same oval is what its all about. this is something that i normally dont say but our standard off umpiring was very very good yesterday think we got some div1/2 umpires all though they liked paying every little ticky tacky free kick but they were consitent through out the whole day with it.

BL were extremely impressive. Played good, hard, disciplined footy. Not a hint of anything but 100% focus at the ball. Too good.
I thought Ryno (#15, captain I think) was best afield. Was everywhere, and big frame was hard to stop.
I hope it's too soon to right us off completely. Wait and see i guess..

Geez now you have started it with the Ryno comment!!! Could have just lied, would have saved everyone at the club hearing about it.

Did you watch the B grade catchisthecry? I think we got caught out on the big ground where you guys made the most of the vast expanses. Arm wrestle all day until the last 10 minutes of the game.

Yeah Brahma not favourites, only won both games by 100 points!!

They are definitely the early favourites no doubt, winning their first 2 games by a lazy 100 points. A huge game coming up this week against Elizabeth, going to be one of the matches of the year.

Not making excuses but presenting facts, the Lodge will still be without 4-5 A graders this weekend, as I am sure Elizabeth will be short a few. I would think the return game will be bigger when hopefully both are close to full strength. The significance of this game will be the ANZAC day blockbuster, can't wait as personally I haven't played in one before, plus been a member of the defence forces.

Hoping for a big crowd, what else is there to do on a Sunday?

Would agree with Unknown source with the favourites, but no real surprises in those teams. All quality.

Has been a great start for the Lodge but it is only early. Really looking forward to Sunday especially as it is against my first club which i have alot of friends at, should be a great crowd, i wish i could be part of it but due to my own stupidity and letting down my team mates i will have to watch on from the sidelines  good luck to the A,B & C grades on what looms as a great day.

that was quick demon nice work, think im 10 for 10 in tips :D
dogs to fit and classy for a very average smithfield dogs should have won by 10 goals with accurate kicking. the usual thugs u get with them were in fine form, and they wonder why they get a reputation but heres a tip being tough and hard is putting your head over the ball at all times not throwing punches cause your too fat and old to keep up. Plenty of improvement left in the dogs still 4 or 5 players to come in including j smith.

HAHAHAHA ur kiddin urself mate i was there and seen with my own 2 eyes exactly wat happened yes ur right plympton were 2 good on the day but 2 log on at 4 oclock on a sunday morning and dribble absolute crap about smithfield players being thugs is completely incorrect!! when the fights started and both teams were party 2 it!! as 4 ur blokes keeping their eyes on the ball it didnt seem that way from where i was and thought thats how come ur not in div 4!! why is it when a northern suburb team has a scrap were thugs but of course u boys were only defending urselfs right?? get off here 4 oclock on a sunday morning after youve had a few talkin **** fido bedow!!

What game were u at! Your long haired full back was the thug rest of your players played footy all he wanted to do was punch on spoke to the goal umpire after the game who had plenty to say about him as for logging on at 4 clown im actually getting ready for work not sucking booze!

Definitely sucking in a way, would much rather be crissed as a picket at that time in the morning than getting ready for work.

Well that's a bit contradictory to your first post mate, the usual thugs turns into one person who didn't even play for us last season, so how he can be usual is a bit off the mark.
I'm sure the big fella that was standing him done nothing wrong in the scrap aswell.
Plympton's game was far superior to ours, we allowed them too much space and their rotations on the field confused some of our players somewhat, an inability to man up and pay more attention to what Plympton were doing was costly.
Losing 4 players on Saturday morning on top of the 4 we lost when selecting the side Thursday night exposed a real lack of depth, we really missed Steve Taylor and Chris James is not playing up to the high standard he has set for himself over the past couple of seasons.
I guess it wont be til round 4 before anyone can get a clearer picture of where all of the teams are at.

Maddog carried his fine form from Oakbank into Saturday, it promised a lot but in the end he couldn't get it up I mean get going.

apparently MAD DOG looked very fit and crisp on the track last night? can anyone else confirm this...wat is the verdict on his immediate fututre down at havens, another week in the 2's?

From all reports he trained the house down, walking 3 or 4 brisk laps.
Would think another run in the 2's and then I'm sure he would be knocking on the door of the A's in round 3, Providing he can run a full game out.
I think the effects of a massive Oakbank are still taking its toll, needs to get the blood pumping and fire up.

How did MAD DOG go last night at training? Is he in the 2s again for another week?
Yeah mate he's in the A's. Hopefully he remembers to bring his contacts with him this week :D
How did Ty MAD DOG Duerden go on the weekend? An improvement on the week prior?
