Imagine if he does do something he may kick 10!

5 goals? He'll be in the league side next week most likely, given he was very close this week.

Great to hear about Henderson, love his upside, sounds like he's really developing nicely with the Dogs.

Just because he is on the crows list! that will not get him a free pass into the league side at the Dogs. Unless there is injuries he won't get a league gig this season especially with the players we have to come back. NFC please stick to reporting on the cows sorry i mean duds sorry i mean Crows.

Bayman who cares if you got a player mixed up, you were not the first and won't be the last to do that, at least you were at the game supporting your team. All good mate. Love yoru work on SAFooty!

Mate he was named in an extended bench of 4 this week which means he's obviously very close, and given he's just kicked 5 in the ressies, he would be very close to a game.

He was never ever ever going to play this week mate, todays 21 was always going to be the guys that played, he was named for the sheer fact it was an unknown quantity to the bays, with about 6 guys to come into the side from injury plus Hardy from the reserves he would be very much down the pecking order.

Maybe at the other 8 clubs Cows players are walk up starts but at the Dogs this aint the case.

RELAX!!

I'm not saying he's better than Jonathon Brown and needs to be given a free pass. I'm just saying he was CLEARLY close to making your side this week. Okay he didn't, but he was around the mark. Okay he didn't play, maybe he was never, ever going to, but the fact that he was the 22nd player on your list (in order of getting a game, behind the 21 that took the field), means he's close.

And further more, by kicking 5, it means he's probably a step closer.

All I'm saying, relax buddy...

I thought it was a good game of footy. Dogs goal kicking after quarter time was terrible. But a very good win with the current injuries out at the minute. None to be coming back to soon from what i hear. I thought yet again Williams Thomas and Callinan were terrific. Lawry Schell Spurr and Nash were very good in defence. Kyle Jenner seems to have taken another step this year, whilst youngster Luke Habel continues to impress.

Bring on Anzac day!!!

Yeah fair enough sorry bud, still pumped up about what i genuinely thought was an upset today.

Personally unless there is injuries or AFL upgrades i can't see Lairdy changing the side for next weeks game. Obviously i hope Gunston makes it at SANFL level because of the benefit to the Centrals. I just get sick of hearing he must be a gem because his on an AFL list.

Must say Griffin was great for the Dogs today and while he didn't always execute skill wise his decision making was pretty perfect, close to the best game i have seen him play for the Dogs spent a fair portion of the game at half forward (to which he did well) not sure if that was a Crows direction.

Henderson was great again today, he is so competitive and gives a contest at every inside 50, once again while he doesn't always have perfect skills his always looking to stick to the game plan and do the right team things. Only disappointment from him today was he continously lead to the pockets instead of the V. Second efforts were really good today as well.
The Crows could do alot worse than to elevate him to there senior list.

Reserves Final Scores:

Central - 14.16 = 100

Glenelg - 9.5 = 59

A good first up win for the Jeff Brown coached Doggies reserves side...

I actually called the stats for Central's reserves team and while Jack Gunston had an okay game, he started slowly and finished off well...

He didn't kick 5 goals though, he actually ended up with 2 goals 4 behinds and would have had about a dozen possessions and a few marks...

Nick White kicked 3 goals for Central while Josh Giddings kicked 3 for the Bays...
