just because you kick 5 doesn't mean you played well, granted it is a good return for any player but in general i thought they had better players on the ground

If he can kick 5 goals a game he will become a Central legend until the Crows pick him.

Imagine if he does do something he may kick 10!

5 goals? He'll be in the league side next week most likely, given he was very close this week.

Great to hear about Henderson, love his upside, sounds like he's really developing nicely with the Dogs.

Didn't see Gunston in the Reserves but Henderson played OK. I would expect that he will replace Tippett in the Crows team next week.

Just because he is on the crows list! that will not get him a free pass into the league side at the Dogs. Unless there is injuries he won't get a league gig this season especially with the players we have to come back. NFC please stick to reporting on the cows sorry i mean duds sorry i mean Crows.

Bayman who cares if you got a player mixed up, you were not the first and won't be the last to do that, at least you were at the game supporting your team. All good mate. Love yoru work on SAFooty!

That's Glenelg's forte ... beating up on teams who are already down. They've been like that for decades, but no good when the heat is on. Culture.

For Hendo to play for the Crows he will need to be elevated off the rookie list first.
'Norman' played very well in the Ressies today. I think he will come in to the team next week to give us a bit more height.

LOL ... that's the best you can come up with?

Anyway, well played Central. Too good on the day and they were cleaner with the ball and worked much harder although I suspect they wouldn't be totally satisfied with their performance.

In the end I thought the final scores flattered the Bays somewhat as Central missed some easy chances. As usual they scored heavily late in the 1st and 3rd quarters which won the game in the end.

The Bays fought hard for most of the day but as last week, weren't clean with the ball and nowhere near as efficient of the Dogs.

Spluttering along at 2-2 after 4 rounds which is a fair result for their efforts so far.

Lots of room for improvement so let's see how they respond in the next few weeks.

By the way, what is it about the southern end at Glenelg Oval??
Our kicking to the northern end: 11-1
Our kicking to the southern end: 3-13
What magnetic force always had our kicks going off to the left down that end??? :o

Comment of the day goes to the person up the northern end who yelled out to this umpire (after another soft Glenelg free) that he was obviously auditioning for a job as an AFL umpire. =D>

Nothing else to add as people have already said what I was going to say but Henderson and Hynes are looking good and the Dogs have a long way to go regarding their ball handling skills. Too many fumbles and dodgy handballs.

Anyone see that mark that was paid to Ryan Williams on the western wing???

Yep both sids struggles to kick goals down the southern end. Considering there was zero breeze it was very odd...

Mate he was named in an extended bench of 4 this week which means he's obviously very close, and given he's just kicked 5 in the ressies, he would be very close to a game.
