:D What was it again ,batting aggregate, bowling average and the John Engelhardt Medal. Anything else?

Is this like an A grade player of the year award Bazza??

How does your voting System Work? Any chance of a run down on your vote getters for the year?

How presentations consisted of Hopkins taken out the Batting trophy for the first time, Hopkins winning the bowling for the 6th time (? bloods), taken out the A grade cricketer of the year (been in for 7 years and he has won 5 IIRC - Pressy the other 2). Thankfully the fielding was not won by him being taken out by Fiebiger and CoverKing in a tie (terrible year voting wise, with around 8 people withing 5 votes of the winners).

Allrounder trophy taken out by Grant Croall with 955 points, Hopkins 2nd on 738 and Russell King third on 642.

Great effort by the above 3 with terrific performances and all aspects of the game!

CK, it's a 3,2,1 voting system, all players vote by writing down on a little piece of paper. they then go into a envolope and the votes are counted up at the end of the season.

Am I getting the People's Choice Award AF? I should dominate the red carpet anyway as long as those pesky paparazzi don't get in my way... again! ;)

Our votes are done by each player after each game and no player can vote for himself and the voting system is 5 for best player and 3 for second best.

CoverKing said what?

Agree with AF on this one!

I think the formal wear donned by JC and the bird's nest hair-do he comes up with should attract the most attention.

Our system is 3-2-1 voted by Captains. I like the idea of all players voting so long as everyone does vote.

Bloods or Ck any chance of posting the Hewitt Votes by round if you got them? Well done to Rowe we were saying when we played them in Rnd 6 that he hadnt had as good a year as last year but fired massively in the last few matches and well done Joshy Lourens would had been a deserving winner.

The phone calls were coming from the Lourens in round 11 to find out how many wickets O'Malley had taken. Then Coromandel put the opposition in for a 2nd dig for Lourens to take a few more even though they couldn't be eliminated from finals. Interesting decision.

Nah I think had they won outright and at that stage they had thought that Ramblers were going to win they could had jumped to 3rd and at they were keen for another crack at WYC after the week before. But yeah he was pretty stoked after the match but they certainly didnt send us in for him to win the bowling he hardly bowled in the second dig till late in the day.

Fair Enough. Not the way Mr O'Malley described it, but he was perhaps annoyed about it...
