one spectator was quoted saying at the Meadows v Gumeracha game Sat, "there is two teams out there and i only one of them is playing footy"

i only pulled up for the last half, Gumeracha seemed a little big and slow lucky to get the points, although i missed the first half.

I think you need to take a pill and have a good lie down. Judge teams and players on what actually happens each week not on some wierdly biased view based on supposition. In which games last saturday did all the jaw breaking and socket crunching take place?
We all love "country" footy and the way its played compared to the SAAFL (which is why they need the 12 game rule and Hills doesnt). No Hills club is ever going to encourage or condone violence on the field. In fact many of the "thugs and ferrals" that seem to have you throwing your skirt over your head about have come up to the hills to get away from the undue aggression of city footy. Yes they are hard nuts and they will retaliate if pushed too far but its not what they want. If they do do something wrong and if based on facts they do desrve it throw the book at them taking in to account their past history. But until then trust the clubs to make the right decisions about the players they play

No it doesn't. You can't complain about making judgements on people due to prior incidences, and then say that if another one occurs they can have the book thrown at them due to the prior incidences. You are not disputing that they have bans in the SAAFL, so we are not judging them on what may happen, we are judging on what they have done. 'Will retaliate if pushed too far', by what? Can't handle a bit of banter? If they are the victim of an on field incident thats what we have tribunals for. Almost sounds like you are condoning it. It's always the same with these blokes isn't it, it's never their fault. They never started it. People just seem to start on them week in week out. Must be unlucky.

Meadows Vs Echunga - Meadows will have their confidence up after last weeks near miss, Echunga need to rebound may be a close one so Echunga by a couple.
Maccy Vs Gums - Game of the round I would think hard to pick but will go for the home side by 1 goal. Wouldn't think a couple of years ago that these two would be a game of the round, but very good to see their improvement over the past 2 years.
Kangy Vs Sedan Camb - Kangy by 15 Goals.
