i only pulled up for the last half, Gumeracha seemed a little big and slow lucky to get the points, although i missed the first half.

I think you need to take a pill and have a good lie down. Judge teams and players on what actually happens each week not on some wierdly biased view based on supposition. In which games last saturday did all the jaw breaking and socket crunching take place?
We all love "country" footy and the way its played compared to the SAAFL (which is why they need the 12 game rule and Hills doesnt). No Hills club is ever going to encourage or condone violence on the field. In fact many of the "thugs and ferrals" that seem to have you throwing your skirt over your head about have come up to the hills to get away from the undue aggression of city footy. Yes they are hard nuts and they will retaliate if pushed too far but its not what they want. If they do do something wrong and if based on facts they do desrve it throw the book at them taking in to account their past history. But until then trust the clubs to make the right decisions about the players they play

now thats a comment that has some merit!

Thats a good call, well written and makes sense and agreed has merit.

No it doesn't. You can't complain about making judgements on people due to prior incidences, and then say that if another one occurs they can have the book thrown at them due to the prior incidences. You are not disputing that they have bans in the SAAFL, so we are not judging them on what may happen, we are judging on what they have done. 'Will retaliate if pushed too far', by what? Can't handle a bit of banter? If they are the victim of an on field incident thats what we have tribunals for. Almost sounds like you are condoning it. It's always the same with these blokes isn't it, it's never their fault. They never started it. People just seem to start on them week in week out. Must be unlucky.

Round 2.
Callington Vs Kersbrook - Kersbrook By over 50+
Torrens Valley Vs Nairne - Torrens Valley by over 10 goals. if they play as a team 15 goals +.
Meadows Vs Echunga - Meadows will have their confidence up after last weeks near miss, Echunga need to rebound may be a close one so Echunga by a couple.
Maccy Vs Gums - Game of the round I would think hard to pick but will go for the home side by 1 goal. Wouldn't think a couple of years ago that these two would be a game of the round, but very good to see their improvement over the past 2 years.
Kangy Vs Sedan Camb - Kangy by 15 Goals.

Agree with 4 of your tips.

But were you tipping Gum to win the game or the fights?

I agree with the other bozo this will be worth paying the admittance fee just to get in the gate.

Can the slower, bigger, taller, wider bodies of Gum stop Micky Daniele?

If Daniele isnt felled behind the play, im tipping Maccy by 9 points.

game of the round for sure..

When was the last time a Gums player was reported for a behind the play incident? All this thuggery crap has just got way out of hand by some idiots with others just adding comments to make themself look good......GET OVER IT PEOPLE!!! Gums are on the right track trying to improve themselves and the comp and small minded idiots keep churning out the same crap over and over and over again. I believe they had close to, if not a record gate receipts, bar and canteen last weekend. They must be doing something right.

Well its about time that someone bought this up instead of bagging the club all the time, The only reports that Gum got last year where all infront of the umpire and 2 of them were not worth straight reds.

Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Kersbrook have had a good preparation for taking on Torrens Valley this week with wins over Sedan-Cambrai and Callington  Wins by over 20 goals will give them nothing to go by before they take on the competitions heavyweight. And by all reports with a new recruit to be unveiled with a very high C.V.......................................Brett Backwell!
