A lesson to people who intend to attend a game at Unley Oval this year - the scoreboard and game clock should only be used as an approximate guide and is not a true indication of the actual score and time elapsed. Numerous times the scoreboard was incorrect, whilst the game clock stops when reaching 30mins, and in the 2nd quarter wasn't started until about 2mins into the quarter.

Rimmington made a bit of a dick of himself in the changerooms after the game though!
What he do?

Yes it's unfortunate for us that the historic analogue retro time clock we have at our ground has finally shat itself.
The electricians tried in vain to get it working but had to give up considering its age and the fact that the company no longer exists that made it.
A little bit of knowledge wouldn't hurt you Hopeful Jelly Belly, I congratulate you on your win, but I take offence to your attack on one of our young volunteers who puts his hand up to help do a job that no one else can be bothered with.![]()

No intention to have a go at a volunteer and everyone's entitled to a mistake now-and-then or have a technical problem like Richmond Oval last night. However if you only attend the ground once a year like myself and see things like this happen year-after-year, from my observations it's just seems a bit amateur from a permanent SANFL venue when others do not seem to have a problem.

Yes I agree, particularly after about 5 minutes into the second quarter. I'd guess there would have been almost 20 frees paid by then, then about that many for the rest of the game. Of course you get the couple of dodgy ones each way as expected but they just let the teams play and only paid the frees that were there.
