Spelly, when was Central last win at Glenelg Oval.

2007

that was by 16 points

since 2000

central 8 wins
glenelg 2 wins
drawn 1

at the bay oval

That would mean most of those 'Dog wins from 2000, at Glenelg, will have been against a bottom five finisher (including three spoons.)

Somehow I've got a gut feeling Glenelg, circa 2010, may be just a touch more competetive.

Should be a good game, could go either way but in the end its only April and its only two points.
I am just looking forward to a good game and meeting up with some of my Bays supporter mates and having some friendly banter over a few beers.

Dogs look very strong. I believe the Bays can win, but it'll be a tough one !

Dogs may look strong but I think the Bays forward line will be too strong and tall for the undermanned and undersized Dogs outfit...

Think Central will be exposed down back and will be stretched as I mentioned. Not sure why Justin Hardy hasn't come into the side, Lee Spurr and Trent Goodrem aren't key defenders.

IF James Gowans plays, will be handy inclusion in the forward line and while the Dogs do have a good looking forward line capable of kicking a winning score, depends how well the defence holds the Bays up.

Glenelg to bounce back at home for me, by about 5 goals.

Bays team from Adelaide Now

F: Button, T. Grima, Bode
HF: C. Kane, Kirkby, Carr
C: Willoughby, Tenace, B. Kane
HB: Panozzo, Rudolph, Meyer
B: Kellock, Mills, Adlington

1R: Cranston, Allen, Murphy

Spelly have the keyboard primed Sunday afternoon, a potential debutant for the Bays to add to your every player in the SANFL list, young Shannon Snook. Proudly sponsored by the Snouts.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Don't mind that side though we are probably one maybe two key position players short.

To combat this i think Griffin will carry a massive work load in the ruck on the small Glenelg Oval, while MacKenzie will play at either end of the ground when and where is required.

I would be very surprised if James Gowans plays, if he does play i think Gunston would be the one to miss out.

Gunston has plenty of potential but at this stage he is to light and doesn't have enough strength in his light frame to play league just yet, needs a few more protein shakes.

Maybe the dogs should pay him more, or help him budget his money ;)

Agreed. Huge danger game for the dogs. Bays at home early in the season with 7 first choice players out of the line up. Is it a situation where if the bays cant beat the doggies this weekend. Will they be able to at all this year ???
