Carlton got spanked by a shithole Essendon side. We suck. No questions. We can't beat Adelaide.
We couldn't beat Adelaide, if you blokes gave us a 10 goal lead.

Judd NEVER plays well against the Crows.

The only thing I'm looking forward to is going onto the ground at half time to help with Auskick.

You blokes will win. Easily.

Adelaide by 32 points.

The only way Adelaide wins by 32 is if Carlton don't score. It will be a really close game either way for mine.

REB

Lol but not totally correct, considering we're averaging 59pts per game the Blues can score 4.2 before our 32pt margin is in danger. ;)

The way Carlton are going it would be more like 3.8

I don't know what to expect from this game - I seriously don't. We're winless so far and up against a Carlton side that's only beaten Richmond.

If our defence can do it's job again and keep Carlton to 7-8 goals, that will be a good start. However, we need to start scoring. 5 goals in a game with a line up of Knights, Walker, Tippett, Burton, Porplyzia is quite simply not good enough. OK, so Tippett will be out this week, but we still have a potentially very damaging forward line. The sad reality is though it that a forward structure with those players currently cannot kick a goal to save themselves. They need to fire up, create leads, take those marks, and kick those goals.

We also need at least one player to draw the line in the sand and inspire the side - remember Mark Ricuitto in 2001 (the hard hitting to start off with followed by that goal in the dying stages). If Dangerfield can get up, he could be the one that does it (and despite what happened last week I wouldn't put it past him). But if it's not him, maybe one of Vince, Douglas, or Mackay can be that inspiration.

So who will win?

At home, and with the 19th man behind them, I reckon Adelaide will win by 19 points.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Johncock will be a very handy inclusion, we've missed his run and pressure in the back half. Will be interesting to see how Schmidt backs up too, he looked very good last week.

I reckon Adelaide can definitely win this one at home. I won't be tipping them though as they've already cost me 3 tips so far this year!

Problem with Stiffy is the lack of match fitness (obviously, but I guess you would take him on one leg over a few of the other youngsters been played thus far.

Im a bit with you Bruce, I really can't pick the winner of this game .. Carlton are facing a 1-3 start also which would effectively kill them and they receive good support in Adelaide.

I am a pretty staunch Crows supporter and I'll be tipping Carlton this week.

Besides the fact that we can't score, our pressure through the corridor has been absolutely hopeless and we've basically allowed whoever the opposition wants to run through. If we continue to allow it to Judd, Gibbs and especially Murphy it won't matter that they don't have Fev anymore because their midfielders will kick plenty of goals.

I thought Doughty was the #1 tagger? Why wasn't he pushing Judds' 'riods in from the first bounce?
I am afraid Edwards has to go. He is my favourite Crows player, but again looked like the game has gone passed him.
Burton ....bye,bye. Go qualify for the SANFL finals. Cannot play him and Walker in the same team.
Tippet needs to be left as a permanent foward. Bring in a second ruckman, even if it is Griffen!

Game plan shot to pieces....overall looked to slow and disinterested.
