Is there a better forward line in the RMFL then:

Dougall - Button - Girardi

Weyland/Marchetti - Jackson - Viney/O'neil

Good luck defences

He played Saturday mate, Button & Kay were both played in the Backlines

I actually think Ramblers are stronger then 2008, with all the Kids like Cowland, 2x Pfieffers, Mason, Vanson etc etc having a couple years under their belts & the Inclusions of Button & Kay (comparing them to say Morris & Matchoss of 2008), the only thing is Dougall is unlikely to play all year IMO.

Big game between those 2 clubs this week, Mannum v Ramblers. I reckon Mannum might get up, mainly because its at home, 11-20.

Jervois v Tailem, the Bluds may get the win, but likely to be close between 2 of the battling clubs probably fighting for the spoon. Jervois 1-10.

Meningie v Mypolonga, the Bears the big improver this year, should defeat the young Tigers by around 61-70.

Take Mypolonga lightly at ur own perril, if Noske, Rossi, & Benbow are unavailable it could be a close 1
Can any1 from Meningie confirm or deny the rumour Benbow broke an arm, & Noske did a bad knee?? Ryder???

I didn't say he was in the same class just metioned it was a good forward line.u are right about rmfl it is alot faster game than the Lincoln league!! n pretty sure I didn't throw any elbows either mate !! I did get possible the softest send of ever I forgot there were 2 imps life Members umpiring the game,I heard it was the same in the grand final last year 2,surely there's other umpires from other clubs that can umpire so it makes it even ?? Not saying they didn't umpie well but if there life members they would have a soft spot for them in tight situation!

I think its about time Mannum stopped blaming the umpires for last year, and if you are so worried about them being ex imp players why doesnt your club supply a few umpires, no one is putting there hands up for the job, it wont be long and clubs will have to supply all the umpires if we dont get some younger ones coming thru, and with the attitude out there thats not gonna happen. If you dont want to get sent off you shouldnt raise your elbow when charging thru a pack, it wasnt exactly subtle and certainly not necessary.

Find me a post where a mannum person or anyone else blames last years loss on the umpiring. In the last 6 months I have not heard one serious supporter mention umpiring as a reason for 10 goal plus loss. The question of whether the situation of life members umpiring their sides sits well is a different one however I understand their numbers are fairly skinny so options are limited. If you reckon Mannum have been sitting back, whining, doing nothing in off season waiting to play Imps again with differnt umpires you are sadly mistaken.

What was that suposed to mean ?
Mick Nottle is a life member of Karoonda , not Imps, only played a couple of seasons late in his career not that we should let the facts get in the way of a good story.
As i said , find some more umpires , however im sure they will get the same reaction no matter what club there from. Could not be any worse than the previous umpires coach and his brother yet they had no club allegience ?
And yes was at the game and a had very good view of the incident.

The umpiring was not too discreet, let's be honest. I went and watched my nephew play and couldn't believe some of the umpiring decisions in the third quarter, 4 directly related to goals to Imps. How can you expect a life member of a football club to not be partial? That's not to say they deliberately 'cheat' but i would firmly argue that they have an uncanny ability to find free kicks in situations and do not reciprocate those decisions to the opposing team.

Unfair to cast judgement on one performance but I will be going to the next one with eyes wide open.
