I'm going to hold on to Riewoldt this week and see how Rockliff and and Podsiadly go. One of them comes in for Riewoldt, and Tippet becomes Brown, Pavlich or Goodes.

I wouldn't be jumping of Dangerfield yet nuggety. He has been cleared of serious injury and will only get better as the year goes on. He might miss a week or two maybe, but that's about it.

I'm considering switching Hall to Duncan

Personally i think im going to stick with Hall the bloke is capable of scoring 100+ scores and for his value thats priceless. While Duncan is going to be a gun and is playing well cant see him scoring much more than 70 a game due to the strenght of the Geelong side.

He could be a good cash cow though before the prices rise at end of round 3.

Nothing like abit of self praise!

Well, I'm making two trades this week. Kerr and Mitchell are going. How crap has Mitchell been. He is useless this year.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Yep, Mitchell has been a huge disappointment for me. Will be interesting to see if his back-related hamstring problems cause him to miss games. Given his prices has plummeted, he isn't worth trading out though, just gotta hope he starts posting some tons. Geez, I'd love to have Boyd or Judd in my team - rookie upgrade targets I suppose.

Would it be worth it trading Relton Roberts for Podsiadly, they are only going to sit on my bench anyway, who will be more likely to be playing in the later rounds?
Don't worry, I'm not in any forum dream teams.

Scored 66 and is averaging 97, I don't think he's consistent but he comes out with a boomer from time to time.

Problem with Ablett is that he misses at least 3 or 4 games a season, he also withdraws late, a lot of money to not be playing.

With Sewell back in the team, it should free Mitchell up a bit more and increase his effectiveness.

Just to prove my jinx is alive and well it can now even produce rumours

Rumours about Jonathan Brown spark betting plunge on Melbourne Demons
By Andrew Hamilton
April 22, 2010 Betting agencies were forced to suspend markets on Brisbane Lions' clash with Melbourne Demons after rumours that Jonathan Brown would not play sparked a huge plunge.

An unprecedented flood of money for underdogs Melbourne followed rumours of a big-name withdrawal from Brisbane as football circles had mail Brown was going under the knife for a groin operation.

"Absolute bull****, and you can quote me on that," was Brown's typically blunt reply to queries he was to have surgery.

However, the competition's leading goalkicker did see a specialist on Wednesday for a groin problem.

He will train with the side this morning before heading to Melbourne on Thursday and is likely to be named, with his selection dependent on a fitness test on Friday.

Tab Sportsbet took $40,000 at the 23.5 line at $1.90, which then shortened into $1.80, and also took a $20,000 bet on Melbourne to win at $4.20.

The unusual activity underlines the importance of Brown to the Brisbane side, who have won four from four this season.

Browny struggled this week against the Dees. Anyone considering making an early move on him before his value drops too much? I am thinking about it.

Both Stevey Johnson and Tarkyn Lockeyer are killing me for their value, don't really wanna make a move on either though as i don't wanna burn trades for poor form. Dane Swan hasn't had the best couple of weeks either need a big performance out of him soon.

Matty Pavlich is looking great value at the moment.

Im gonna hold on Jonathon Brown, depends on whether he plays next week, i think he maybe an out but will wait and see, don't wanna burn a trade and then he goes out and score 130+ which he is certainly capable. Making trades with your high priced premium is the quickest way to put yourself in the poo.

All my other premiums are going really strong, Ablett, Montagna, Goodard, Goodes, Boyd(hopefully his back this week), Enright, H.Shaw

Im getting great value out of MaGuire, Waters, Malceski, Kayler-Thomson (worth $83000 ave: 75), Seaby, Hall, Davis.

Once i get Boyd back in my side and one of either S.Johnson or Lockeyer fire i should have a real quality side.

Just having a look at the draw im going to be pretty careful about players from Sydney and Fremantle, both teams have pretty tough games coming up and think a few of there players scores may take a hit.

On the other hand Hawthorn have a fairly easy next month coming up, players such as Hodge, Mitchell, Franklin and co could put up some pretty big scores.

Yes, I am considering dumping my Robbie Gray experiment for Buddy Franklin. Gray is about to dive in price and we all know what Franklin is capable of.

Yep Straycat Strut is in the same boat. Buddy looking good for Gray and I'm not keen to hold on to a half fit Brown as the Strutties aren't going as well as the REBCats. Anyone who traded out St Nick for Browny has been ripped off big time. Either Brown misses or he plays half fit and racks up lower score eating into his value. Could be time to jump off.

It wasn't just a waste of a trade.
I swapped Cloke for Byrnes in round 3
Cloke was averaging 65.5 and Byrnes 124
For the last 3 games Cloke is now averaging 101.3 and Byrnes 39.
So in summary I am 1 trade down 187 points and $102600 worse off for the trade.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

I've got enough spare cash to get on the Judd train and I think it might be time to say goodbye to Bastinac

I can do that and still go Gray - Franklin

On Gray - I thought I saw him limping slightly in the second half and he has disappeared after hald time in the 2 games he has played. About to dive in price so it might be time to cut my losses. It's disappointing because I thought he would step up to premium level this year. He may well have but his injury has slowed things down. I really should have got rid of him before round 1 lockout once we knew about the injury. Oh well, that's the game I guess. A 1 week injury turned into 3 and he still doesn't look right.

Pavlich has turned out to be the right trade choice for Riewoldt in hindsight.

I thought Gray was worth a punt after some encouraging pre-season scoring but got burnt badly. He's gone this week for Strut and my DT side TEDS.
