Solid effort by the WOS boys yesterday on a bloody big ground, always good to get your first win after being promoted

Yeah they were very sub-par to say the least. But not to take the win away from Pooraka because they took their chances and did the right things when it counted. Our poor skills and turnovers were a major factor in our loss but there's no shame in losing to a good side like Pooraka. We'll be back next week for another crack. ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Shoot out at Fitzroy v Unley game yesterday with 41 goals kicked,
Jets ran out winners by 14 pts in a close one & look a very good side this year.
Lions were good in patches but the Jets were more consistant & the better side on the day.
Next week the Roys face the Dragons in triple header down at Glandor Oval which should be a beauty after their win over the Maggies.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

Good day at Hicks Park yesterday.

Would like to thank the Cats supporters that enjoyed our facilities and thanks also to the coaches, players and supporters that enjoyed a drink with us after the game.

I think Saturdays results in general showed D4 will be a cracking comp this year.

Get a dragon up ya!!

Away mate. Oval at Pooraka was in good nick. Just a bit windy there as usual. We find it hard to win there... :?

I only got to watch the 2nd half of the Roys game yesterday, but unley look a much improved side from last year, and fitzroy looked ok in patches but once again the undisclipline stuff cost them the game, coach Mitchell would of been furious... I wonder though whether he may now regret leaving some players out.. I hear a couple of them dominated the B grade???

I said before the game, I couldn't understand why some of those guys were playing Bs. I expect there may be a few promoted next week.
