Hasn't James Skewes headed over to Broadies with Haniford?

Yeah James has, He played a couple C's and a lot of B's last year.
(Think he played 1 or 2 A grade late when we had a heap of injuries)

He is a very good lad but would not play A'Grade at the cats.

He did talk to Broadview before christmas but decided to stay with us once the new coach wqas appointed.

Catters a super player but the style of player he is and such a serious back injury I would think doubtful rayner and Taylor you would hope for six games each. Still cats have good depth

We did finnish higher than Salisbury last year and i personnaly think our squad is better this year.

how many players to come back in to your side from when you played portland purle, you didnt seem to have a key forward or key defender against them

The main players we were missing that day were Skewes, Taylor, Ames, Eatts, Robson, Hyde, McNeill, Curtis & Kropenyiri

In that list there is our FB, FF a few midfielders and our Ruckman.

All of these are in our best 18.

Portland were very very good though.

Is that Michael Kropinyeri??? if so he is a quality footballer

Yep, we tried to change it to your ground so that we could play you later in the year at woody oval but no go

Oh ok, the powers that be probably didn't want to have three A/B home games in a row and three A/B away in a row later in the year, plus our Ds would've already been at home too and we would've had to change other games around.

Shame, would've neen nice to play at Thebby or Woodville.

Pooraka v Golden Grove by 18 pts - Game of the Round as Kooka's will fight it out in a ripper but will just fall short & wont be able to get past the Bull's at home.
Pulteney v Salisbury West by 5pts - all is quiet down Tiger land which could be a closer game than everyone thinks but Blues to get up just..
Fitzroy v Unley by 24 pts - Jets to make a real game of it but the Lions to start the season on a high at home.
Salisbury v Westminster OS by 30 pts - Dragons to find out they wont get everything their own way this year after 2 years dominating as the Magpies at home will be too strong.
Greenacres v Woodville South by 12pts - Cats in a close one over the star studded Dragons line up.
