Chris Schmidt

Surely this kid is close to being upgraded and a game for the crows with the way he is playing at the moment and the way the crows have started the year??

Why play Chris Schmidt when the Crows have the superstar Richard Douglas getting all the ball and not being able to finish.

They need him to fill the spot left by Ottens. The crows have not found that option at the moment. Still he worth a shot, if he turns out to be half as good as Ottens then you arent doing too bad.

:D Onya Schmdity! If Goodwin doesn't come up, Schmidt will play.

Deserves it.

Thought he was good today! Looks a very handy back pocket for the future

Rarely beaten all day, and atleast was composed and used the ball fairly well in comparison to the other youngsters that have played last few weeks

Super debut!

20 possies, 9 marks, did very well and will certainly hold his place (even if there were no injuries).

Yeah a bit rich coming from Melbourne...

You could tell he either got a call from someone or there wasnt a call cos he looked straight at the crows guy who was coming into the contest and shook his head... didnt cost us anything...

Very rich coming from Green, one of the biggest outside, frontrunning uncontested footy kings in the country.

Won't be going anywhere for a while you would think, looked very comfortable out there. In fact, he looked more comfortable than most of his more experienced team mates unfortunately.

Was thinking the same at first about Green but then I remembered a few games last yr and esepcially this yr I think it was in the first game when he went off knocked out after running back with the ball, then after coming back on did the exact same thing and took an amazing grab. Incredibly courageous, seems he's changed his ways

Thought he was great today. The kind of debut Will Young wishes he could have had last week - poor Youngy simply could not take a trick at all against Sydney.

Schmidt was very composed today and his skills were well executed all day.

Oops didn't see this thread ... Very impressive debut from the young lad, certainly looked like he belonged out there (as someone else mentioned, worryingly he looked far more at home than many of his more experienced counterparts).
