Central have shown no indication they are getting out of 1st gear yet.

If they're within 3 goals at the final siren, they'll have done well.

My thoughts exactly. If we get that close to Centrals at Elizabeth i think it will show we ain't that far away.

Going to be extremely hard IMO. No Fergy is a massive massive lost. Ably replaced by chris chubb IMO, but his leadership, courage and effect on the team is irreplaceable!

Chubby is a long way off league footy at the moment imho. The loss of fergy isn't as big a loss as it would have been in the last couple of years, as we now have guys like Hartlett (if fit), Pettigrew and even Willits and Borholm who are more than capable of filling that position.

Exactly. Key players injured or underdone. Thats what I mean by being still in 1st gear. I'm just suggesting that there may be a slow start for the dogs this year like 2005.whufc wrote:HeartBeatsTrue wrote:This game surprisingly will be difficult to tip.

They have only played one game mate give us a chance.

How has Chris Chubb's form in the reserves been ? Does it warrant league selection as yet ?
I would have thought that Adam Hartlett back in the side (if he is over the calf compliant that saw him withdraw* from the side for the Glenelg game) would be a better fit than Chubb.
Or even bring Daniel Webb back into the side, who has been kicking goals in the reserves, to play the CHF role, thus shifting Ryan Willits to CHB, where I have seen him play some good footy in the past.
Just IMHO though, I'm not a Westies supporter...
