Note to umpires, Numbers 2-20 22-25 and 27-60 are likely to duck their heads and stage for free kicks. ;)

He has a point though, the glenelg 2009 side were the biggest bunch of head duckers to grace a football field.

I'll agree with you that we had a couple (mouse esp) of players duck there head a COUPLE of times but go back and watch the replay and count how many times we actually did duck, even though we lost both games ive seen both games on replay at least a couple of times (silly i know) and didn't see the big deal to be honest.

Message to bayman: See my avatar for metronomic replay.

p.s. if anyone else would like a similar avatar I should be able to make some more, from that game alone. Would you like one bayman?

Please i would love the bay duck as an avatar,

Absolutely ... just look at the negative effect it's all had on the players in the 18's, ressies and league in the past 2 weeks. I really don't know how the club will survive to be honest.

I'd prefer one of Andrew Whiteman punching the lights out of the Adelaide oval turf after the siren in the 07 elimination final....thats much better than Purch's or Barto's.

I think this should be a ripper game. If Sturt can match our hardness and commitment at the ball it will go down to Time On in the last qtr. If our midfielders continue to provide great service to our forward targets we will get up.

Mills and Rudolph are possibly playing tossing a coin to see who gets Chambers.

John Hinge don't expect an easy touch as when you get it there will be some blokes looking to make you hurt and see if you have found some toughness.

Are they going to hurt him by head butting his groin ?
After last seasons final series it's laughable anyone from Glenelg questioning toughness.
Unless of course you were suggesting the only way for Hinge to try and find some was to move away from Glenelg ?

Toughness = Ty Allen. Thats all I need to say on that subject of toughness.

Are you so concerned by last years finals because you are scared that Sturt won't make it and you need to live off last season. What happened last season is past history and will in no way reflect how Glenelg plays this season.

All I can say is we are 2-0 and Sturt haven't won a game with Hinge so I can see at THIS STAGE who has the better deal. I'm sure Sturt will improve this ledger and more than likely make the 5 but at this stage we are quite happy with this deal.

I will be very interested to see if Johhn Hinge steps up to the plate and displays some courage on the weekend.

Anyway I am looking forward to a great game of Footy with both teams going hard at the ball and committed to winning the game.

I'm confused, you ask me if I'm concerned about last years finals yet you say it's past history and no reflection on this season.
I guess it's a common belief being a bays supporter who are the perennial finals choker.
Keep ducking those heads.

I just hope we come out switched on this weekend. We are going to need it against the Bays. I reckon our best should get us over the line, but our best has not been sighted thus far.
I have tipped Sturt on the footy tips, as I can't seem to tip against them, but the reality is that the Bays just beat the side that massacred North, who just beat us. Going on form it could get messy for those old Double Blues. :( But it is fighting odds like these that has made us tough over the years, and I am looking forward to a revived Sturt thumping them hard and claiming the 2 points on home soil.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

given we are so called perrenial finals chokers we will absolutely dominate and blitz this game.

Hinge well he will get the same reception from me as Willets does......

I'm glad there will be a screen at Unley this week. Might help bays fans see the ducking, and dont forget diving from their players if they see it over and over.

Apply pressure to the bays and they will fall over. Norwood couldn't :( , and obviously West couldnt either.
They will resort to their ducking and diving hoping for frees and as long as the umpires dont fall for it, they can be beaten.
