Too right, I have spent a couple of cracking nights there. Good if you like a drink, a dance, or watching other people dance while you drink, sitting in a comfy chair.

My night time outings in Melbourne were usually to Enoteca in Church St, or Fenix, and occasionally to the restaurant on the lake at Albert Park.

Seem to recall going to a club called "Carousel" out near Albert Park about 12 years ago. My mate was telling me all about the hot women etc that would be there.

Unfortunately the cover charge was $15 back then, and we were competing with NBL basketballers for the birds, so it wasnt very good. 8)

Crown is always a good bail out at the end of the evening...

Last time I was in Melbourne was about six years ago on a road trip with a couple of uni mates, it was the night before Port won the Grand Final. I remember this little club about halfway up Swanston St, don't recall the name though. I'm not much of a club person, I'd rather go down the pub and listen to a band, but this place was pretty cool. It was just a couple of wood-panelled rooms upstairs with a pool table, a tiny dance floor and a couple of strobe lights, but the vibe was fantastic, everyone seemed to be having the best time. Again, I have no idea of the name but I reckon it's just past the Bourke St intersection on the left as you're heading up towards Carlton.

Funny, nowadays if you were competing with NBL basketballers you'd automatically be ahead simply because they're NBL basketballers.

Espy is good, Riva can be wild, The Sloany Pony Sunday night is a top pickup pub. If your in your 50's a wild night at O'sullivans Moonee Ponds is good.
