If Relton Roberts is your 9th FWD there isn't really much point in trading him out. It's wasting a precious trade. I had Jarrad Grant sit on my bench all last year, he was my ninth forward and played 1 game for the year, but it hardly hindered me. In the end I was more glad to have a couple of trades up my sleeve come finals time.

Don't do a Silicone Skyline and burn all your trades by Round 12.

Supercoach
Nathan Krakouer
Daniel Kerr
Relton Roberts (probably R3 as will go up slightly in value)

Dream Team
Nathan Krakouer
Josh Hunt
Matthew Pavlich
Andreis Everitt
Relton Roberts (probably R3 as will go up slightly in value)

Overall summary picked a lot of kids in the midfield who scored average.
If they start to star welcome aboard if not, plenty of other fish in the sea.

Mate Pav is a DT keeper.

I hope he is, however if he plays more in the midfield his goalkicking returns may not be as good.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

No intention of doing that however if Relton is not in the team he is of no value at all apart from book value.
I won't trade for trade sake unless I can trade him for a Ziebell/Betts/Yarran for sustainability.
I factored into my team picking new players for increase in salary cap to enable me pick better players down the track.

Injuries/suspensions can really impact through the season so it always good to have plan B, C, D...

I agree, if he ends up playing a few games but reaches a point where his dollar worth will slip, he might be handy for a trade out and cash grab. Hope so anyway, I have him too, looking at him to get some games at lower ladder teams and post some decent scores.

He'll play more up forward this year than last and as a result his value should increase.

On Sunday's performance it looks like he might actually have a decent midfield to feed him the footy this year too. He's a keeper.

He's sharing a lot of the duties with Fraser, but he also doesn't appear to be having much of an impact either.
